when you consider to take part in an event that involves the use of the Starflier ship
As found on recent trials 
players that approach i.e. Starflier TDM with a"freshly" made up char, it can happen that they spoil the event - at least its beginning, in that this char is under "noob protection" and therefor "indestructible" to other players (ONLY players, not npcs 
).
HOW TO COUNTER this :

Mount a roleplay license as it costs only 1 mill, it won't level you far enough to be subjest or object
of roleplay (level 40) - have enough money on this char so that you are over level 19 - at least
MONEY is important :
You will need sufficient funding on your char also for another reason.
If you get killed ... and ... your char hasn't enough money to pay the usual "death penalty" (something around 100.000 credits) to the server system
you will be sent back to Manhatten, automatically .
Experience showed that about 2 - 3 mill should be sufficient to cover all eventualities.
Not that I think little of your fighting abilities and I admit that these are results of MY experiences 
, but ... just in case 
And if there are really brand new players, without any built up sufficient own funds who want participate, I am sure that some "arrangements" can be made with the |EM| in carge of this event 
Don't forget : you will be generously awarded only and already just for participating 
(Ofc such arrangements are only ment for REALLY NEW players - and NOT for eventual "UNDERCOVER chars" of some well known, longstanding, veteran, ace-like pilots. Do you agree Maishaf, Gunny, Rifty, The Original, Michael, ......................... ? )
