Inner Core Expedition for Investigation of Gunboats
Introduction
In the framework of IOC™ research program on alien spacecraft design, a problem has arisen: one vessel type, identified as "gunboat", is for an unknown reason no longer found in any of the systems under surveillance. The aim of this expedition is to try and detect gunboats, either through direct contact or by additional means of research, namely
- scanning all alien ships to check if their parameters match those of gunboats,
- destroying alien ships to see if gunboats (or whatever else) could be hiding inside,
- searching several systems simultaneously to prevent gunboats from fleeing.
Expedition Details
The plan suggests that only fighter ships can take part. Starting from GMG Hypergate in Omega-3, the participants will visit Inner Core, Venn, Jormdar, Celldra and Sadurn systems (preferably in separate groups), then meet up in Mepther and proceed to Weth. In each system, at least one alien ship of each type should be scanned and photographed, and and at least one destroyed. The layout of star systems under investigation is presented on the map below.
All participants will receive a financial reward for their contribution to IOC™ research program.

Congratulations mate
The safest way is to continue from a savegame where you didn't find the container yet, I think.
Thank you for spending time on that feedback, by the way!

Hello Flashpoint7143,
the Secret Storage Container will be a part of CF story that comes after you finish the original campaign. Better don't loot it yet, as consequences can be unpredictable (or be the first to test them )

Hello ninjafreelancer and welcome!
I am playing the original campaign on hard level and finished the Liberty part using a Patriot equipped with 4 Drails. NPCs didn't use much bots/batts - only healed 0-1 times before getting killed So I might recommend you use a fast-turning ship, a gun-only setup, and concentrate fire on one target at a time.
Actually your description fits very good to CF 1.9 behaviour - low-level NPCs there were flying really crazy and using bots/batts all the time; playing CF 2.0 now is quite a relief in fact! Are you sure your game is properly installed/activated and fully up-to-date (did you select "Yes" when the launcher asked about updates)?

Congratulations & thanks for visiting us on your Birthday

Moorhuhn: Sorry, didn't know you were replying too Actually I write posts very slow because of constantly correcting what I already typed, trying to pick the best words.
There is a way to use the jump hole in Tohoku in MP: wait nearby until some NPCs come and start docking, then join formation with them Works in Magellan too (but waiting can take quite some time...)

Hello Soupy,
good luck with missiles, and you can also fix the game fonts by using "fonts-fix.cmd" in your Freelancer directory Will look much better!

Hello again,
I think all these missing files have something to do with Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages; I already had them installed before CF, listed as follows:
[xattach=4716][/xattach]
Setup files are available on Microsoft site, but there are also custom installers which allow you to have all packages at once. If Crossfire fails to work for you again in SP3, I can give you the links to either Microsoft site or one of those custom installers, maybe that will help.

P.S. SilverFox is right, by the way Copying .dll files to the required folder (which we did by renaming) is only sometimes a way out, but since you wrote "installed Crossfire 2.0 and the C++" I was hoping that the easiest way could work...
Hello Ranger1475,
I never had the problem you described (WinXP SP3 here), but searching my hard drive for "msvcr100" detects "Freelancer\EXE\msvcr100.dl2" which you could try to rename into msvcr100.dll and see what happens.

Hello,
I have come across a review of Android video players (in Russian) here:
Путеводитель по видеоплеерам для Android, часть 1: MX Player, BSPlayer, Video Player Lite, VLC for Android, HD Video Player, Wondershare Player (pt.1)
Путеводитель по видеоплеерам для Android, часть 2: Archos Video Player, VPlayer Video Player, Zimly, DicePlayer, Video Player Ultimate (HD), QQ player (pt.2)
It mentiones extended network video support (Youtube etc.) for Wondershare Player -> https://play.google.com/store/…id=com.wondershare.player
... and also VPlayer Video Player can open online videos by URL -> https://play.google.com/store/…ls?id=me.abitno.vplayer.t
Hope this helps.

Hello mate,
have you tried manual installation of the Crossfire font?
The instructions are here: Crossfire2 font didn't install (Solved manually)

Happy birthday Michael & sorry for being late for the party!

Hello,
I'd like to thank the development team and congrulate us all with the remarkable event that is happening (really happening!) right now.
For anyone upset by "the bad news" part, just think what CF 2.0 release means:
- the return of many old players! \o/
- a boost in server population! \o/
- growing activity of server clans! \o/
- new graphics & content, after all! \o/
6 weeks are not such a big loss if you can now make the same progress in a far better way than before, right?

Welcome (back?) Blackwood!
See you in space sooner or later
