this is mainly a thread for the modders but suggestions are welcome
ok we have what blaster created so far and we want to make it as successful as other big mods now
so where do we start?
the most important thing is ships in my oppinion
we need many of them and they need to be balanced
i think we should have about new 100+ ships for BU... with new i mean custom
we can use ships that are already in CF... we can use ships from ship packs on LR... and we can use new custom ships
very likely i mixture of those 3 categories will be the best
so lets do a preselection first... which ships do we want... how should custom ships look like?
if this is done... we go on with the hardpoints
i would suggest due to the fact that we work with many different ships and because we need to balance them we use a standard system of hardpoints
which means we definy what hardpoints are needed and how exactly we call them (this way we wont get bugs due to different hardpoint names -> such as Hp_Contrail01 or HpConTrail01)
as soon the work on those is finished we start with the systems and the story
like in CF i would suggest to add quests to make the gameplay more interesting
many features of CF can be used (such as different interfaces or characters)
