luckilly that the weird bug in the launcher code is fixed broke my head about it to get it fixed for haegar but when i found the solution my pc chrashed luckily that haegar found a way to do it aswell

@OP - you really did a great job by making this mod. your community is the greatest an strongest and there is a reason why =)
you are really a great moder. other modinf teams need 1 year to create a new mod, and you do it in month and you also make so many new things with every new update. (about the update: we will need to download the 200MB once again? or we get just an update? )great job

well yeah i updated the server and uploaded the beta but there are some problems that need to be fixed
haegar already worked on the probs with the launcher last night while i was out of order (dont ask)
the problem with not being able to join the server remains and i will have to do researches first... but ok... the day is still long

not to mention that the update would b about 100mb anyways -

302MB --> really great job OP. and i believe its worth to download every little BYTE just to see the mod and to enjoy in it.
and after all, we will get a completely new version of the mod (the 1.70 version) AND we will keep our chars.now THATS what a call a great work

ok haegar fixed the probs with the launcher and i was able to locate the problem with the inability to join the server
unfortunatly its a very tough problem which will be hard to fixi have a few ideas how to do that already but i will need to talk with haegar after the F1 race today

what about the CF compability with FLMM ?
im talking about the situation whe we reinstall the game, run the mod and after deactivation its not possible to activate it again until we reinstalled the game AGAINon colours elite server, when you activate the mod, you get another icon on your desktop which helps you to lay on the server. the thing is: you can play on 2 different servers (modded ones) without entering the FLMM everytime and activating/deactivating the mod
i hope you know OP what am i talking about
is it possible to make something like that also with CF mod?

hm, hard to explain
i just heard of that from Criminal, but i didnt actually played the colours cuz i played it before and it wasnt goodthe thing is something like this: when you download the colours mod, you dont download it into the FLMM so you can play the freelancer. when you download it, it makes a new icon for freelancer and and with that icon you can start the FL with colours mod.
and you still have the "normal" icon when you installed the FL with which you can play the mod you activated in FLMM.
ah, i told that to complicated. ill ask Crim about that and then ill post you here his answer
if nothing else, i think someone MUST have that mod from here. so he can explain it better.

ok i keep abuse this thread to inform you about the latest updates
cyber, haegar and me were discussing about these probs and finally i think we have a solution (in theory)
from what i see its the best way to handle it especially that it will solve another problem that might appear toobut the CF launcher needs to be recoded a little bit and that will take time...
while haegar is doing this i still want to go on with the beta tests... so i will need 5 ppl in about 1 hour to help me testing the mod itself...
if everything is going to be ok... and haegar can finish the new version of the launcher then we can release the new version of CF -
