Hi guys,
about 3 months ago a read an article in the internet about a mod for Freelancer called Crossfire. I wondered what you guys could have accomplished without having access to the source code. But I thought why not give it a chance. And so I started.
And I was totally surprised. So many new systems, so many new ships, so many new weapons. And a wonderful new story. I really enjoyed playing Crossfire. And I can assure you that during the storyline I cursed you several times. But not due to the story but due to my poor skill in flying and fighting. But in the end I managed it to the end. And this with a lot of fun. It is a long time since I had such a fun playing a game.
I bow my head before you Sirs. Even more as I know that you all did this in your free time.
