Tarsus for Traders

Ok, with many discussions with CFPD and some traders, here is the deal:

1. Since Tarsus is the home of CFPD, it is only appropriate we have a Police Station for people-in-need to goto.

2. In order to solve this "need" we are opening Tarsus to CARGO or FREIGHTER vessels only to any player of ANY level. But it must be a NON-MILITARY or COMBAT vessel.

3. These vessels may enter and exit without permission for Trade Purposes.

4. No smuggling or drug deals, no pvp, no pirating and NO entering with a cargo vessel to BUY a Combat Vessel.

5. Those caught with a Shroud, who is not on our "buyers" list will be fined 100 million credits, forced to sell the ship and banned from Tarsus. And yes, we will see you eventually.

6. This is our effort to help increase the role play and excitment of Crossfire.

Please help us by abiding by the rules as they will be enforced strictly.

That's a nice development Gunny. I think your home will attrackt more pirate attention now.

I will assign one of my pirate fighters to be just at the X side of Tarsus gate. In fact, this will be like honey to attract freighter-bees, and I will be the Camaleon around... [641].

this is a good thing you have done gunny and CFPD
ther has been many requests to trade in custodian recently due to lack of good quick trade routes.
unfortunatly i have had to deny all such requests
hope noone is to pi**ed at me i am just doing my job

As long as the combat ships remain outside the gate, then there is no problem......and that is part of the rp gain here.

My my, Tarsus is opening to traders...i havent been in there recently so im not quiite sure what the profits are; although its gotta be just at good as going clear across the known universe and back. I might give it a lok when i get my chars back.

Pirates pirating in a police system...smuglers smuggling in a police system....hmm...let the conflicts begin...

I did say no pirating or smuggling or combat ships in Tarsus.

If you choose to do so, be prepared for the consequences.

I think this is a great idea and adds yet another layer of realism to the CFPD's role of police. It's good to see such creativity and energy being focused towards bettering the CF experience. Congrats to the CFPD, and good luck enforcing your policies.

going in to fight orsomething is ok, right, it is roleplay...right?

or will people be banned for violation of serverrules, related to respecting clansystem rules.

also, if this is not the case, i note that MWs system is (blur needs to post rules, i know), is ok to screw with, as we believe it is roleplay to violate system rules... well roleplay for pirates, smugglers, and plain 'ol troublemakers

anyway, gunny, just wanna make sure things are clearly understood by all, as i mentionsed bad communication has been our greatest downfalls.

No pirating, no smuggling, no illegal activity and NO combat vessels.

Cargo ships and freighters only.

You dont want to get caught in there violating CFPD rules.

as for the violation punishment, i think being banned would be a little harsh, although it would effectively get the point across. But then again, so woudl killing them a few times.

And true; it is rolepay to violate system rules, although it is usually not a wise choice to RP the annoying ignorant newb (or the stubborn annoying person).

... so essentientally roleplay with other clans and their systems is still not allowed...?

i take it the only allowed roleplay is still:
-- csf vs. asf events
-- killing "bad" people (smugglers & pirates)

if this is not true, someone step down from the greater-than-jake and i-dont-wanna-just-answer-his-question state, and please give one, just one full, complete and honest answer. thanks

@SOT - umm... what do you mean? invading systems doesnt sound noobish in any way, unless the system is gay, but everyone has picked cool cf mod systems, so, that cant count

Oh I never said you would be banned from the server, just banned from the system.

As for invading our system, just ask around what happened recently when members of 2 clans on 2 separate occasions decided to disregard our rules AND invade.

I applaud you and your clan for thinking about other people that play on CF.

Instead of coveting the system for yourself just so that you can rub it in other people faces (like some unnamed clans).

But as a leader of this community. I will not tolerate or promote flaming from anyone about clan systems, be it a freelancer or clan member.

Community growth is based on rules that need to be followed, respected and following the process of legal evolution.
