    sorry for posting this BUT I REALLY HAVE SOME PROBLEMS


    few days ago i found a worm on my computer and its called something like "password graber" and now i CANT LOG IN with my originaly "Inferno" account


    can u OP please help my and change my password or anything else because i cant even get into my account to change it by myself. i log in, it says "welvome, bla, bla,bla, and then it redirects me and then i must input everything all over again.


    now i made this 2nd account, but i also have problems by loging in WITH THIS CHAR


    it just WONT ACCEPT

    How did you get this worm? It sounds undesirable and I want to avoid it :D.

    i have it already . i have AVG and AD-Aware


    but everytime i start AD-Aware a little window opens and its says "shut down sequence" or something like this
    the problem is: my comp WILL shut down/restart in exactly 1 MINUTE and there is now way to stop it


    i tried also to run "Run" and to type "shutdown-a" but that isnt working either


    ill try to remove it in Save Mode for now. i hope i will lose that piece of shit

    With a dual scan of Noron and Lavasoft scanners the most I've ever quarantined and deleted was 482 spyware/adware/malicious files. Lol, I scan more often now to avoid that :D.

    damn, Marshall..........i thought i had a lot when i caught 112 malicious/spyware/viral files on my PC.......


    I have AD-Aware SE, Zone Alarms, P.C. Rescue 3.0 and F-Prot......but Ad-Aware is the only program that ever catches any bugs, and P.C Rescue works like a charm.


    Actually, i've been fairly lucky not to get anything serious; the viruses i usually catch are harmless, but annoying as hell (one bug i cant find keeps putting system pop ups on the screen saying, 'you have critical system errors. go download this software to fix them' or something to that effect).


    It's especially annoying since it minimizes everything else running when iy pops up......including CROSSFIRE.

    I have anti-vir premium and anti-vir premium edition only running (pirate, of course), and it has been almost a year since i last reinstalled windows. And that was due to an hardware upgrade.


    Recently, i have this annoying thing that i don't know if it's a virus or spyware, but whenever i have an iexplorer window open, it randonly pops up blank small browser windows. And javascript in some sites is not working as well.

    AVG free, as mentioned above, is indispensable. Also, try using a freeware program called "Spybot - Search and Destroy," as an adjunct to Ad-Aware. This program picks up junk Ad-Aware just passes by, and it takes less time to run a scan. Thirdly, you might try running a program called Tauscan. The full version of Tauscan should be available as a 30-day trial.
