CF site down?

not only you.... i can't access portal either.

Hi To all,
Im still jammed out in the back blocks working and havnt played for nearly a month. When i try to access the web address "www.crossfire.swat-portal.de" to see how the server is operating and check the stats I get a strange page and the message

The domain "www.crossfire.swat-portal.de" is not available.

Whats Confixx ??
Is this whats happening to others??

due to the fact the LR didnt post the CF1.61 i hosted the mod all the time

result was massive traffic which exceeded the traffic limit with more than 1000%

most likely the provider has closed down the domain because of this... so for i got no warning or notification about this

i wrote 2 mails to the host but no reply yet... also every try to call them via phone failed

fortunatly the forum is still working due to the fact that it is on the 2nd SWAT webserver (ASF + CSF too)

but none of the direct links are working coz the domains are blocked atm.... you will have to use the long url to access the pages
the mainpages of swat including the clanpages and the cf page are not available and i have no access to the admin areas or the webserver itself

plz give the working links to others so they can use the forum at least

ill continue and try to contact the host to find a solution (even if i have to pay more)

might be under re-construction. but for now lets just stop asking and keep mouth shut, let our big man do their job. if u need any info i ll try to help in game.

well i said the forum and the asf/csf pages are working not the database

Hehe, it took me about 3 all in all. It's hard to explore such a system with cheap sensors and outcasts bearing down your neck ^^. He'll find what there is to find though. This seems to have gotten a bit off topic though... I was wondering if someone could PM me a link to the CSF page? My webpage history and favorites only have the non-functional link. There probably hasn't been anything posted, but it would be great to stay up to date ^^.

ok thats the current situation:

i made a deal with the host and now the sites of the SWAT-Portal are back again
but the downloads are not available anymore (to reduce the traffic)
so atm there is no download of cf1.61 available

but that shouldnt be a big problem coz 1.62 is mostly finished and I hopefully will be able to submit it to LR (where it hopefully will be posted this time)

those that have a dial up dont need to download the full mod again ... i will provide an update that they only can get by contacting me (due to traffic limitations)

ok and now the other news:
PVP stats will be available soon (at least the first version looked very promising)

if i manage to config those scripts CF1.62 will also be available with a new kind of installer (like a typical game installer with backgroud, some music while installing... options... licence agreement... deinstallation... and check if all files are included in the packacke)
thx to blaster who has found the development software

last thing is that i decided not to be active on LR anymore due to the lastest shit going on there
ppl only want things be are not willing to do something for it... and im not going to support anything like this

hm, that with 1.62 could be a problem when you said that its almost finished.
but how is your traffic limeted: pro day or pro Month???
the month is almost over so that shouldnt be a problem
