Ugly weapon trails

Hi there, I am new to crossfire. I noticed that every weapon i fire (lasers, photonblaster...) has got that ugly nomad-like trail behind each projectile. Is this intended or is there a way to work around this?

Hallo, ich bin neu bei Crossfire. Jede Waffe die ich kaufe (Laser, Photonenkanone...), zieht einen nomad-ähnlichen Schweif bei jedem Projektil hinter sich her. Ist das gewollt oder ist da ein Weg, das zu entfernen?

I guess you are using Justice's and Skyblasts, etc like those...

Yes it is intended, it is just a vast improvement on the graphics as far as I know. Imo it looks really cool

hi, get coalition gatling and you will be ok There are also some other (mostly alien) guns (lvl 10) with different projectiles trails look.

Okay, thanks. I just loved the look of the vanilla photon projectiles and the weapon trails of the low level guns are really distracting. Much like WWII smoky trails from plane-mounted machine-guns, moving at different speed and angle to the actual projectile...obfuscating my view.
I will definitely look into the coalition guns, however.

Coalition guns... Very much one of my favorites

And I think there is a way to default it back to original FL graphics, will need to ask SWAT-OP_R8R, he is the admin of the portal and creator of the game. Also there might not be a way to default it back, so just enjoy what you can sir
