and the other post the bugs of 1.51 here plz
OK i think u heard or saw them yourself but just to make sure they are all listed and
for the others who saw them too:
1) Selling DVD at planet CF caused cheat
kick.
2) BS turret view buggered, view seems to start from inside of ship. Gonna be
very difficult to fight these babies without working turret view (...maybe by use of a "tug
boat" partner to push u around, lol).
3) BS very difficult to Moor, took 5 tries at
Malta (had to F1 out twice cause it was stuck in cut scene, not lag induced). When coming at
mooring from directly above (heading downwards), it worked OK.
4) When ppl shoot at u
or nudge u with a fighter in a BS, the pressure from the hits could spin u around very fast
on the center axis end-for-end like a top. The "nudging" factor seems to be way off, a
fighter or gun hits shouldnt be able to move such a massive thing so easily.
5) BS
Shield and armor both seem to have "dead spots" where no weps can penetrate.
6) When
selling BS in "Buy Ship" screen, the replacement ship (VHF, Sabre in my case) had one of the
Gunboat missile turrets automatically mounted on the fighter.
I forgot one, found while
i was registering the first-ever kill of a BG battleship (.... first of many lol)

It is possible to fly right through a BS as if ur ship is a "ghost" that can walk
thru walls (as u travel through the ship, u get a mometary view from inside it). It seems u
must be traveling fast using thrust aiming straight towards the enter of the BS at a close
to 90 degree angle. Oblique angles or slow speed seem to make u bounce off normally.
This could be an old FL bug since i recall having the same experience with an NPC
liner once.
BS have no bats/bots (they would need about 2000 for a full
repair)
BS have no tractor beams (why should they have those?)
they also have no
thrusters (they are battleships ^^)
ahh well i had bats an bots onboard from last ship also tractor
beam
yeah but i cant prevent this to happen... maybe ill add a tractor beam but what
would you tractor in?
not much useful out there for battleships to loot
oh double post but who cares...
so far there were 20 bugs with cf1.51 which
doesnt surprise coz its just a test version at the moment
8 bugs have already been
fixed... the rest is just a question of time.... that means 1-2 days
then the mod is 100%

Well...in SP just after misson 01 i went 2 DV 2 get the disk. As i entered DV the
Nomads killed me b4 i even vas fully there. I thought: ''No big deal'', but a i pressed
''Load Autosave'' i respawned in DV. That was a bit strange, but i didn`t pay antention
2 that. But the weirdest thing is this: As i left DV with the disk in my cargo hold, & tried
2 dock with the X gate in Nomads Lair, the game crashed, & the mod deactivated by itself.

mission one in Death Valley!?!? what the hell are
you playing?? i'm flying the plot missions form the regular game!
and so far, so
bugs havge come to my attention. i just landed on Leeds with Juni and Sinclair, and so far
so good.

im working on getting battleships flyable at this very second (not while im posting tho,
duh)
NPCs have infinite shield batteries
NPCs have
more nanobots than the specs of their ships
NPCs have near infinite afterburners
i
was just flying the Tekagi Transport mission and i had to quit right in the middle cuz i
wasnt getting anywhere. as soon as there were only 3 naval ships left, the NPCs IQs jumped
to 15 million and turn into the biggest pussies ive ever seen. Every time i had even a
half-ass shot, theyd hit the afterburners, and id follow them. but they didnt have to stop
once i had to stop often to let my thruster recharge. And when i did manage to hit them, it
was only 5-6 shots, which didnt matter cuz they would repair their sheild, even when they
were supposed to have run out of sheild batteries-53 recharges ago. and i'm not
exxagerating; i counted. They were using sheld batteries long after they were supposed to
have run out.
i noticed the NPC infinite shield batts in s19 too
in MP. the number of shield batts is 0 when u scan the ship but they continue reloading as
demons (those reloader legionnaries are hard to kill...)
they use normal thrusters... like in vanilla FL
and they cant use
bats/bots if they are not loaded... most likely their shields just reload
but a shild cannot reload your hull

There is no way in hell thats theuir sheild reloading. when i lok
at my shield reloading, it inches its way up the meter, very slowly. however, their shields
are jumping in huge incramnets of HALF AND 2/3 OF THE METER. there is no way in hell thats
their sheld recharging. and i am currently stuck on the Tekagi Transport mission because of
it. every time i manage to put a dent in their ship, they fix it right up. their flight
patterns are much to erratic for me to follow, and damage them enough to kill them at the
same time. and trust me; MY SKILLS ARE NOT LACKING. I tried everything i could think of to
take them out and hurt them, and nothing worked. I'm flying a heavy fighter with 6 level 5
and 6 gun mounts with 6 of the strongest guns the ship can handle, and i am stuck. I've
already made 8 attempts at finishing this mission and have failed to destroy the fleet every
time. I'm not continuing unless i can get a better ship with much stronger firepower,
because at this point i am playing a game that i cannot win.
