Might be due to tests on the server ( for CF 2.0
) .
Can you give some more info about the crashes ?
... any error reports or messages ?edit:
Had just a quick check - connection without any problem, but after deconnecting an "EXE2" file
in my /Microsoft Games/Freelancer file, that stayed there for some time.Perhaps check there. If there's an EXE2 file - just DELETE it and you should be fine.

This EXE2-folder is created by the launcher every time you start your Freelancer/Crossfire installation.
USUALLY it will be deleted automatically after closing/exit Freelancer/Crossfire.
For some unknown reasons sometimes it stays.
Also sometimes for the same reasonsit takes some time for Freelancer to do so.
You might be able to see this in your lower windows tool bar, where the CF-icon might stay after you've closed Freelancer/Crossfire.Esp. if this is the case : check for an eventually still standing EXE2 folder.
Glad I could help

Well, this EXE2 folder is always in the Freelancer folder in my case by the way... are you saying that it is safe to delete the whole EXE2 folder? No wonder i cant create any new account... if that's the cause anyway...

EXE2 should be only a temporary folder created during a time when you play Crossfire. If it remain stay for some reason (after you close CF ofc), then you can delete it, no problem with this.
