I have activated that too, its an proposal of the hilbert guide. I am not sure if it improves the fights to the original setting

i have problems with targeting settings, sometimes targeting system just sw on another target eg. i target transformer but targeting system sw on sphere (infected space) or on last fleet event i select tac cube but targeting system sw on probe lol.
My seting is all on off except "never auto target pets'. -
Remember Husker, the bad guys can have the same buffs/skills as you. This means they can Jam Sensors, cloak, phase and do various other things that mess with your targeting. This will also happen more if you play on Elite level.
