Have a proposal, suggestion about gun balance.
ATM the "vanilla"- Sirius guns are pretty uselesss for MP (means pvp) since almost everyone sports some of the "new" weaponry :
Phoenix Project Cannon, Coalition Gatling or some of the Alien weapons,
which are FAR superior to the SiriusSector (well known "vanilla") as well as AltairSector weapons(Meson Blaster, Laser Gatling, Pulsar Cannon, etc.)
(wonder how the Coalition managed to survive before development of the Gatling )
in range as well as projectile speed as well as damage as well as power usage per damage
What I ask, if it wouldn't be possible to make the Sirius as well as the Altair weapons comparable to the "new" ones ?
Not regarding damage or power usage
but, ... perhaps at least regarding range and/or projectile speed ?
And I think as the NPcs would be equipped with these guns as well, the "balance" of game-play would stay quite the same, for playing SP
or playing on the server below "Role-Play"-level.
(perhaps making the NPCs even a bit harder to tackle, but ... what we are HUMAN PILOTS for ? )
