Replacing Solar System BG Textures in California and New London / Also : Viewing ALE files.

  • I really do not mean to offend anyone but the textures for certain solar systems look far too exotic for me.


    Does anybody happen to know how to replace Background textures for certain systems like New Tokyo or California or New London?


    And another minor thing, I want to know how to view ALE files. Don't need to edit them (though knowing basic stuff like just changing color of something would be nice) I just need to know how to view em.


    Any help with this would be really appreciated.

  • you will need the utf editor for the textures and the ale editor for the effects

  • You could as well lower the background quality in the Options menu and they won't look so coloured and exotic anymore :D


    The call for the texture background is at their name system (for example New York is Li01 ) in Systems, you could edit the call so they use another background without editing the background itself.
