  • I am a NOOB, please be gentle. I checked the FAQ section and i searched it in the forums and could not locate another person with the same problem.

    I installed the FLMM 1.3

    I clean installed FL

I downloaded the crossfire 1.9 mod from this webiste.

I tried installing the file and this is what i get for an error.... The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows that you are running. I have Windows 7 home premium, 64 bit operating system.

Sorry, but i am not smarter than a 5th grader when it comes to computers. Help is greatfully appreciated. THX.

Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

  • Im not saying that its not compatible....im asking do i need to download a special file or download from a different site....or what do i do ??????

  • I myself have win7 home 64bit and CF works just fine :)

My FL install directory is on non system disk and all works good. Not needed to do any special downloads.

One small hint after you install it correctly. Check this thread, it can help you to see some special objects in space: here

p.s.: first should be installed FL, next FLMM and after this CF, activation CF and it should work.

  • thank you for the help so far.....did a clean install of everything and installed in seperate folders under the program files.....got the flmm to install CF...gonna try playing......THANK U !!!!!
