Environmental changes

    The plans for Crossfire 2.0 do not involve the introduction of new traditional systems in Altair, Sirius, Inner Core or Canis.
    I personally believe that we have more than enough systems which are barely visited.
    We will focus on making these systems more attractive to players without breaking the logical structure of having "newly explored worlds".


    Mostly the focus will rely on Coaltion and DK Territory.
    A more interesting environment will have to be created which will motivate players to explore these systems once more and use them more often.
    New quests and side stories will be created for these areas and also for many traditional CF systems in Sirius.


    Canis will offer much more to explore than before including new structures with defence systems and good loot.

  • I was wondering if we could have side stories which reveal many aspects of the main plot. The main plot, itself, could just be a basic skeleton of the real story. Side plots can complete the story,
    If its a war, the reasons for each faction's participation in the war can be explored using these side stories.
    We can also have plots which have very high rewards(like overpowered ships' blueprints which then result in the option of purchasing that ship for free), ofc the plots will also be very hard.

  • A DK landscape in that area with something interesting to get, as mentioned in another F 2.0 thread, would help making that zone more used. I think, as DKs created those cloaking devices, there could be an item which increases the time you can stay cloaked, and another one which allow you to recloak again earlier/instantly. That can sound simple for some, but it'd make some work for the FL Hook, though, not much after the basics are done, the cloaking script itself.
