But this is much different. Trader mean they often trade gods, but IOC crossfire roleplay is mercenary. Please re-read server rules. Clan can be only Mercenary, Smuggler, Pirate or Police. Nothing else and only one for all members.

lol just reread the server rules and no where did it say that clans must stick to one rp or for players to stick to one rp.
Please specify where you found this information.

You can as freelancer have on different chars different licenses. Clan when formed pick one licence (for all memebers) so all others know what is such clan for. If you check team members here and ask GR, they confirm you this if you need such confirmation.

Fair enough but this sounds more like an unspoken rule and people are just expected to follow it.
But either way I am not arguing, I simply would like some confirmation of this rule is all so thanks for the post.:)

2 RPs, or a "secondary " RP can't work.

DRA can only be pirate (or only mercenary, or police, or smugglers), so, you already got the confirmation (both Forlon and me are Moderators).

There is no trader license, trading is something all RPs can do. So IOC's status is correct.

And in answer to your 2 rp's cant work, erm yes it can you just mount the required license and unmount the previous one.
Say I was pirating and someone set a bounty on someone.
Then I would unmount my pirate license and buy and mount a mercenary license so that, I could acquire the bounty.
Then when I wish to go back to pirating, I would sell the mercenary license and remount my pirate license.
And I hardly class two members posts as classfication as such a no two rp rule is not officially listed on the site.
I have checked and not found such a rule and if this is a legit rule then you should make it so.
Update the site rules but 2 rp's can work unless you have defined otherwise in the rp rules under server rules.

It's not " 2 members posts" it's 2 moderators posts.

OP, the only admin here is always working on the mod, the server or other projects. So it can take a while for him to even see this.

I am not wishing or wanting to pick an argument here, I am just wanting the rules to be clearly stated.
I have heard so many rules by other players recently and not once have, I found these rules on this site.
I merely want to get my clan off the ground and respect the rules here but if they are not fully stated.
Then I cannot 100% do that.

How about to try to use ur common sense instead?

In which way would you wish me to use it.
If there was any so called common sense around this issue then this rule would be legitimised by being written under the official rules.

And that is PRECISELY why one clan is only allowed to stick to one RP.

So lets say I have a pirate licence. Oh look a police pops up. I will just dock, sell my pirate licence and buy a mercenary licence so he won't be allowed to attack me according to RP rules unless I attack him first.

It's all logical mate.

That rule really doesn't need to be specified as it becomes quickly common knowledge for everyone who starts playing CF -- especially when you want to start a clan for yourself.

That logic is fine but instead of you just expecting every one to just know this.
This rule should still be legitmised as this not being a rule under the server rules.
It is an unspoken rule that users and members are expected to follow.
If it was a spoken rule it would be under the main rules on the main site.

Rat Common sense ofc...Let me tell u this, u will fail in rat RP(pee-rat, pierat, pirat) that's for sure!
Asking and searching for rules too much is not natural pirate environment and do not fit adventures rat spirit.

Walk a plank or switch ur role play to single-minded cops!
