so all that needs to be done is to chance the + with a -
as you can not simply add a credit to debtsthats btw. how banks lose billions of € and suddenly find them again *cough**cough*

Correct formula:
100+(-49)+(-49)=2 $ have returned + 98$ =100$
or
(-49)+(-49)=- 98 $ debt
full:
100-1-1+1=99=(50-1)+(50-1)+1 conto
