I have just started the CF SP campaign and i am now on to the first part where you need to make money, but 300k is what i need and all the missions are under 10k each. How are we supposed to make money here?

Well... I started with trading, in the begining. But later on you get money with escape pods, Which can be sold in every prison In the universe. Use crossfire wiki to get more intel about the game It helped me..
1 offtopic question... What is the difference bettwen normal SP and OPEN SP? I can't find any intel on that -.-

Normal SP = Play the story from the beginning.
Open SP = You are free to do whatever you want. -
Money wise the "Normal SP" is totaly unbalanced - sadly.
But i guess there isn't much to do about it, based on the fact that all those values are based on the multiplayer part!? -
thats bullshit
ive balanced the SP by hand and its perfect
the money requirements were set based on the conditions of the nearby systemsif you expect you can simply do 1-2 missions to get to the next requirement then you are wrong
Freelancer... trade, fight, explore
all 3 ways grant you much more income than the requirement is -
I have to say ...
The balancing may have been done too much to perfection
I would have loved it a bit more difficult to complete the missions ..... and bigger jumps in the required money to get to the next level, but then luckilly each to his own and not all the same .. else it would be boring ...
Thanks for a great mod OP ...
Kind Regards

SP is awesome, now I'm finishing the old missions

I personaly feel that everything in SP is great, giving you just enough to carry on to the next mission with abit left over.
I have made it through the first set of missions, and have started the added missions. Everything is great thus far.
Was kicked out of the game during the mission at Saturn after docking with Battle ship, but will keep trying.
Yes I always clear out the saved games before starting again. For both SP and MP.
Nicest part is you can buy a good ship as soon as you have the cash for it. Should have got a better one lol.
Thank you and am looking forward to playing to the last mission.
See you in space -

you should find things by yourself and not looking into wikies

And no, i wasnt able to withstand the temptation ....Just to make sure, i got no problems with the money to gain between lvls - those are fine, just the overall amount of money "floating around"
You dont have to "grind" for the money of your next weapon/shield anymore and feeling "happy" when u did - those prices are peanuts. -
but you know that this is actually a multiplayer mod and the needs for the server are more important than the ones for the singleplayer?

Yes, i think thats the reason i wrote this in my first post:
