I noticed that the balance of CF is throwed away now and everything related to money is greatly slowed down. The pirates , freelancers and the mercs who can trade BMG are great , because the BMG is fast and they can make good money of it. But about us(the police)... we are screwed up. Very slow legal trade , the pods which are dropped from killed npcs are greatly down as well as the guns from which you can make good money. This is so unfair and it's even very boring as you can't even trade or do something for money as everything is so slowed down besides BMG. And I was thinking if the CF balance can be restored somehow.

Yeah, since the exploits and a lot of other major stuffs were removed, everything related to " Legal Trading " isn't really an option for us. Now as the BMG took over, everything just got f*cked up and even bored. I don't even trade since this happened as it's pointless(no fense). I do patrols and fight for fun , but not trading now. I even tried to take guns and even pods to sell for money , but.. what did I just see? -> 0 of them. As it's very rarely the dropping of them now.
There used to be a balance in CF 1.8 (and a bit in 1.81) ... but in 1.82 now, it's gone. What did it just happened , I have no idea. I don't know why I even bought my train and APC in 1.82, lol -
I had a telephone call with a clan mate about this topic a few hours ago, he was telling me that he was interrupted in trading BMG that often that he lost money instead of earning it over all. When you make your Job as you seemed you did it the last Days very well you can simply balance it in RP. Because of my lack of time lately i wasn´t trading that much and guess what? Earning save money was realy hard these Days.
And here we are, in the middle of RP - thanks to all of you
-
Yes, I intend to do patrols(or just my police RP) at 100% and develop something of a RP. But when it comes about money, we also need to trade and do money for ourselves. Good for you and bad for us...

There are some good legal routes every day mate
but i know what you are talking about - being a police officer (old and honest style) cancels the possibility of trading BMG completly. Don´t laugh about it now but did you ever tried to fine? With your fighting skills and the amount of money a trader has to loose it should be possible to earn additional money. An APC load is worth around 7,8 Mil. all in all the profit is around 3,7 Mil. maybe a criterion? (just searching ways)
-
Yeah, I did some fines in 1.7 / 1.8 and 1.81 but not in 1.82. Only drop or die in 1.82 (just like the past few days). Anyway , you can't always patrol and fine people. If the legal trading gets back to it's feet, it would be great ...but , it's not my call of course. I am just saying that it would balance the server a little ;/

I earn good money with killing npcs and selling their so valuable pods. Maybe another option for you too?
-
I killed like 10 Outcasts in Vega a week-two ago and none of them dropped any pod. So, no.. this is a no go. If we have to balance the server , we need to think of new ideas anyway. Buuuuut I guess this thread is gonna be locked up eventually. So, I won't do anymore posts for now ... as it seems everything I or GrandAndreasK said , is gonna be ignored.

It was on mission or randomly spawned NPCs? ... I was in Vega and also in X (2-3 days ago) and took missions and all killed NPCs dropped also escape pods. Randomly spawned NPC drop no pods.

It was on randomly NPCs.
Aaaand as I thought , still getting ignored. No matter now, let it be more and more boring in CF and eventually most of the people would ran out of money(those who doesn't trade BMG ofc) or out of boriness.
And the ones who are allowed to trade BMG , good job of provoking me and GrandAndreasK by the way.Anyway, Good Luck , that's it from me.

My condolencs not only for a poor copper but also for a bored copper
What about if we meet each other once in game and you hunt me through several systems - and eventually if you catch me i pay your patrol/gas? You could also hire some PXses they know how to hunt me through whole sirius to get a bounty (<< somehow this always comes up to my mind - unforgettable hunt). -

Most of us is almost at rock bottom we need more creative ways of making dough.
-
You could arrange to escort transports and share the profit they earn - possible with one of your many monopolies...

10 missions 440 000 each = nearly 5 mil
The 95 pods you get from them are worth precisely 14 250 000
The guns you get from the CSF go for 64k at the vendors each (they have a low drop rate but you can still get 1-5 guns per mission)
All in all you can make 20 milion credits in 50 minutes if you just shoot stuff that has no brain of it's own. If you think BMG traders have it good, then you haven't visited X-3043 and done some (CSF ONLY) missions.
