I'm a new player, it's first time with this mod.
I've a problème, i can't activate the mod Crossfire 1.81in the Freelance mod manager version 1.31.
The message error is :" SH copy file failed ".
Can you help me please

I have the same problem. FLMM says, it cant copy a data to an FL gaming folder. I have de- and reinstalled the game for several times now, but the same result als ever.
I would appreciate it very much, if someone could help us.

de-installation does leave some files into the Freelancer folder
just delete that folder and try again -

Like said before if you install the mod manager and the crossfire mod as admin you should have no problem , window vista or window 7 coz i have both. hope this help you..

yes, don't uninstal the game, delete the entire folder with it so there are no remains, also the savegasmes files

This is the message error :

delete flserver.exe in the mod ?
In addition my anti virus detected flserver.exe suspect

I'm all uninstall the FLMM an he MOD,afterward, all reinstall and the message is alway:

Oh, remember to add the mod and FLMM to exception files for the AV, as the av may block or delete that file before it copyes. If the AV takes it as a possible virus, then it blocks it, so that would be the reason.
So the solution is to add the mod and FLMM to the exception list for your AV, so it doesn't touch the files. CF fiels are complex, and some are unknown for few AV, that's why teh 'possible virus warn', but nothing real
Be sure there's no real virus there lol, as we're many ppl here and the file is gigabytes large.

Most likely you will get rid of this if you remove the read-only flag for your current freelancer installation. I have had this error too and that was the solution that worked for me.
Its quite simple. BUT please note for Michaels hint as well!You're so damn close to get it working. Be sure!

lol ? seems you used a cracked version of Freelancer ? still I don't know why it asks that when it's not Freelancer anymore... neither the .exe.

yes, an this is what I had before in the signature
english version is the one which works great with CF, with the french one some words would be french, some english(as known).
That's not the problem...
