    I've been getting the same trade routes for a few days now...

    On the other hand, this still economy probably means the files that get downloaded each time (11 & 30) are the same, leading me to believe the server crashes that have been happening are not because of those...


    Today I was in Vega after a long time, I was shooting at Outcasts and there was a newbie nearby. And when the enviroment gets crowded, eg. we're surrounded by 6-8 Outcasts, the server crashes. Similar things happen when people are in Dervon or elsewhere. I still think it's the NPC's. I'll try testing a bit in Alpha.

    Hi im new here at this community but im a modder too and i have a question - what community has to do to encourage you to continue work on this great project? Is there any topic where is list with tasks for community members?


    Shockwave - Dynamic Economy and other special features are off - You can see that whenever You log in on server in welcome info from console.


    BTW: Those crashes are very often and they arent nice for newbies on server ;)

    well - im still waiting for a PR campaign for CF and SWAT
    im still in need of ppl which write articles, moderate forum boards and keep discussions running
    there were many requests of help which still have not been answered

    that the dynamic economy is off is good - because maybe then some of you start trading and to establish some rp fight around. For me this would be easier if i know on which route - and not flying through the entire sectors to search for traders :)


    Dont look always on the worst sides of life. Be happy with what you have and learn to live with the resources. Once you get used to it you will like it too ;)

    What ''PR'' means?
    What kind of articles?
    And about moderating forum boards - dont count on me atm - i really dislike this white and grey skin-its awfull. Could You add as deafult for forum: crossfire skin (dark grey and red or something)?
    Also after that boards should be reorganised, than topics clearing/moderating and keeping discussion running. Change the skin and count on me with help.
    Sorry that i bother You but we need this info to help.

    PR = public relations
    articles about games that fit to the portal
    the current kind of forum theme (the bright one) was requested by the community (i actually was even blamed for using dark themes in the past)

    maybe, but to create a new skin that is compatible with thousands of sites and more than 540 plugins is for sure not an easy job while there are many other more important tasks to be done

    there are so many
    i currently need to concentrate on forum moderation + clean up
    adding 1000 downloads to the database
    and working on the wiki


    those have priority for me atm

    I think I crashed the server again. While in Vega, I was firing Nemesis and a Cataclysm on an Outcast without a shield, and the moment the missiles hit it's hull, the server crashed. So either it's something about the explosion itself, or the debris, or destructible parts of the ship.


    As I wrote somewhere up there, I'd like to help with the forum cleanup, I just need some general guidelines, should you accept.

    And again, exactly the same scenario. At the moment of impact on an Outcast Sai, crash. I won't do it anymore, I'll move the ship (|PX|Nexus) out of Vega.

    I also apply for help in forum clean up and moderating but not the whole portal - lets say all FREELANCER related boards in english. Remember if someone is from everything he is good for nothing.
