    OK people, enough lazing around.
    Time to get to work.
    OP wont be advancing the CF story soon but until then, we make the story so it will be easier for him to to put it in the mod(along with helping him in other stuff) .
    Now,OP may ask for help here.
    We HAVE to help if we wanna play the CF mod and enhance the experience.
    All ideas are welcome.

    a few weeks ago i made the same topic about helping the community , but with no feedback from the players we can't do nothing . a few of us can't do the entire community's job but ofc ideas must be created and as i said a long time ago , we must be seriously on advertising .

    Yeah.
    OP says that he did ask for help in doing that but he did not get it so hes not able to make ads.


    I think we should gather everyone we know and tell them to gather others and then explain the situation to them.

    Well we could advertise on facebook. There seems to be simple advertising service so we could create ads about SWAT and target it for 15-50 ppl in America and europe with gaming interests (cause ad targeting is available so we show it to the real prospects). I'd like to know OP's opinion abotu this and SWAT's capacity to pay for such advertising.

    well no, but, annoying our friends a bit with it might revive dormant flames or simply those friends know other ppl who'd like to know about this group. Facebook is good for anything to get known.... Even onion rings so....

    ok now back to the story.
    I was thinking of an entirely new race which actually comes to save US(weird)
    Now that alien race is friendly and has better tech than all the races(or so it seems)


    Later, humans find out that they were actually supposed to be servants of that new alien race just like the nomads are now but they changed their minds.
    They team up with the DK and begin a war with the other alien races.
    But reinforcements arrive(yes the galaxy gates start to work again) and the DK are nearly wiped out.
    They are asked to go to the more peaceful places in the universe.
    Now its all up to Humans and that race(we need to think of a name for now well refer to it as the RACE).
    odds are overwhelming but hope is not lost.
    The DK have ordered the nomads to become friendly with the humans and the RACE.
    They are now mustering their forces.



    The race has its bases in all the Friendly DK systems which sell ships and uber weps.
    The war has taken a new turn and hardcore dogfights are a regular sight.


    Now this story has some conflicting parts like ancients.

    woah ! wait a sec i think OP has already a very good idea about the future of his story... 1.9 has already some conclusions of its own i think... as well as the final chapter 2.0 about the galactic scale conflict.


    And well, for the humans planned as servants for the RACE : Goes to the opposite of the FL (and hollowoodian) idea that humans are the ONE race who kick ass in this universe :P Which personnaly i like cause its more fun to have your race on the slowly winning side. Its good we had our share of troubles with the Nomads, DK and now other races but i think it needs to remain in this area... CF has already a very solid story with interesting details, i would not mess it up to add more battle or conflict so big that players wouldn'T understand all that's been going on since trent and juni...

    AS i mentioned earlier that they changed their mind and let us be a separate race.
    I have no idea ow to make OP start working on it again.

    I think the conflict should not only be in the inner core.
    The Heart of the conflict should be the outer parts of the Galaxy.

    simple put a few CF pictures and link to CF in ur profiles anywhere and everywhere u can...this will do for the start, also opening a group at facebook is great idea (i have not profile there, but many has)

    Daywalker is really good in making small animation pics like adds...
