hi guys. is the server down or is it just me? CF dont show on the server lists. i have been trying for over 7 hours & still nothing:(

Next time server is down, send a little pm to OP to inform him the server is down cause he can't monitor the server 24/7. I just sent him a pm half an hour ago and there we go, server back online. OP hasn't been noticed earlier !

I have a suggestion...Re above post about OP not knowing the server was down...On another server I have played on there was a SERVER STATUS thread that was PINNED.
When we had a problem the rule was, you 1st checked the SERVER STATUS thread and if there wasn't already a current post about the server being down, you then made a post.
If there was then at least you know the Admin has been informed and you just have to be patient.
Also the Admin used this thread to let everybody know if they where going to take the server down for maintanace, updates etc.This saved the Admin getting battered with PM's.
Now I no OP can't be monitoring the all the posts all the time, so we could send him a PM and post it in the SERVER STATUS thread that a PM has been sent to him.
Then nobody else needs to send him a PM and flood his inbox.Do we need this here on this server ?

Downtime usually isn't a problem. Only usual downtime is due to dynamic economy changing.

Server appears in the list but is not accessible. The time to connect is exceeded hence a timeout message.
Probably the DomK,R and whatnote aliens are preparing for something destructive^^ SA - UR - keep your eyes open. Your houses are in danger^^ -

Yea, I've seen the serv0r do this a number of times since the release of 1.8... Strange. Did this the other night too... Most annoying.

Yes, you can easely see if the server is down, or if you got a problem on your PC; by using the CF's Toolbar
