    hello people....
    just a bit of advice really is the only way to Altair through Sol ?? or is there another way to get there ??

    SOL is the only way to Enter in Altair space, but there are 2 ways to exit from there... one of the exit is not an entrance. So yes, SOL is the only entrance.

    In fact, there are three ways out of Altair, but one of them requires your char to kick the bucket :D

    The Coalition bribe, which Spiky mentioned, is very important. If you forget the bribe and go to Altair you will be attacked by the Coalition. (here's the important bit) If you fire on the Coalition then you will Not be able to get the Coalition bribe with that char.


    That no bribe char will be virtually useless in Altair. You would need to start a new char and buy the Coalition bribe;( All the remapping, etc..... A big pain the the neck for forgetting the bribe in the first place.
