    You should think over that it won't be possible if it won't be a commercial project. ;)
    (Where should the money come from to purchase the licenses?)

    I got my backup copy of FL on Amazon.com for only $10US...

    sorry but the FL community does waste the real chances somewhere else with selfish, centralized thinking instead of concentrating on the important matters which really would bring the neccessary changes.


    I got to see too many excuses and weird acting in the past view weeks to believe that the FL community is really doing something for survival and for helping each other. And no petition can fix the real problems in FL.

    At gog the games are sorted by genres - And there were only a few games released in the past for space sim fans - And they might looking there for alternative for their current space games.

    I emailed the site I sent them as many links as I could find about Freelancer community and all the different servers running for it. They told me that they would give it good consideration...

    sorry but after the bad response and the crappy behavoir of the FL community I will not support any FL promoting activities anymore

    Sorry, but I'm with OP on this, the FL community is awful in supporting each other.
    Give me Morrowind's and Oblivion's mod community anyday

    I believe the reason is that FL is a MULTIPLAYER community, that's the difference.
    And IMHO the FL comm works more together since starport started (or at least at that time...FLHook plugins - sharing of ressources..etc.)

    I can not share these fews as ive seen many examples speaking against it
    and i dont get rid of the feeling that starport is going be more and more TLR like... at least in some cases
    inconsequent
    ignorant
    not being interested in other communities and their role as part of the FL community
    and feeling so great while most of the success is based on the work of others


    but starport is not the only example... i just need to have a look at station network and their reaction in the past weeks


    and finally the stupid crap talk about swat at starport


    success, respect and help seems to be only a one way road in FL

    and I believe you dont have enough insight into whats going on to tell me what I have to think
    you cant even imagine how much time, work and money I have spent in the past 9 years to keep the lancers community alive... everything for the players
