Bases entry in the system ini has a "ids_info =" line, this is part one of two DLL entries that are required for base infocards to work.
Part 1 usually has the "base type","population" etc settings, while part 2 has the bases "story".
You then need to add both numbers to the InfocardMap.ini i.e. "Map = part1, part2", FL will then take both parts and add the market settings between both sets in the final infocard, this is also how to get the base to appear on the "best price" list. Now for the bad news, FLMM's XML is useless for this, so you need to make the DLL entries yourself with reshacker, Fled_ids etc.
I had to share this with you all as I just found out something new and the quote in orange is what my problem was as I was using xml and not adding it to the DLL's manually. I hope this saves someone else a headache when using xml and cant figure out why your new base's don't appear on the "best price" list.
A Big Thank You to SWAT_OP-R8R & Bejaymac for the good information they shared here.

Does anyone have this file the original from TLR years ago when they had it? I am looking for it and cant find it anywhere it has a loot of good tools in it and iirc it was like 115mb of tools and info for modding FL. I would appreciate it if someone can give me a link to get this file.
Thanks in advance

I emailed the site I sent them as many links as I could find about Freelancer community and all the different servers running for it. They told me that they would give it good consideration...

Right now I am listening to the ringing in my ears

Happy New Year! May you have a better year then any in your past.

It wont hurt to sign on to them maybe one day MS might decide to make Freelancer 2 or release the FL Source Code. However I think my luck would be if they did make a FL2 it would be for Xbox 360 only Grrr!

altho, if you bought it, it SHOULD be yours - and what you do with it doesn't matter (as long as it's nothing illegal like re-selling the copies of game for money...
I read about that and they are not giving new installs I seen that on the forum and at Amazon.com so it was as I thought you install it 3 times and your done.
I agree if you buy it, it's yours as long as you dont make copies and sale it do as you please.

totally.actually game pirates can get the game running much faster and easier than the buyers (w/ DRM included)
That is why DRM is a waste of time and money for game companies as there product is still cracked. Mass Effect is awful and they say that EA was going to make it worse then ME for PC gamers with all newer releases. Mass Effect you have to be connected to the internet to play a SP game so it can check your disc several times while you play. Then it has disc checks on system, and you can only install it 3x and have to go buy a new game. In fact, many people are not able to play it yet then you have to ask how many just through it away in anger or put it on the shelf for only god knows when. I had a game called Company of Heroes it was fine until they release a new patch and in that patch they put DRM. The game became unplayable so THQ, and EA [1]
