    Ok, puleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze could we have some SP for a change?


    - We have people leaving events because of probs that would need the attenion of an SP or wouldn't even arise with an SP online
    - nobody can announce events
    - people misbehave in events and when i make them pay for it i'm the bad bitch


    AND THAT F***ING SUCKS!!!!


    I don't know if anybody of you up there care about what's happening on the server, but my impression is that it isn't going too smoothly. Others think so too.


    So, if we could puleeeeeese have some SP online. I can get down on my knees to beg, but i would prefer if it weren't necessary.

    Uff... umm... I am sorry for not being there all day ;)
    But you should know that you can always forward any issues to the known SPs (Daywalker, Gunny, Wavey, RyderHook, Myric, LostHeaven, Canoso or me) - as PM, Mail, or via MSN or whatever possibility you prefer.


    If you can prove any accusations (and i know you can) than we can deal even afterwards the happening.


    @all:
    Besides the fact that only SPs can do universe messages i would like to see that you support the EventManagers meanwhile. And for hell you have to respect the rules the EventManager carries out before the event starts. If you cant follow those rules than you should consider to step out the event and let the others have fun.


    If you got any problems with the event or the EventManagers itself than you are free to tell the SPs or the Admins about it. All those inquiries are tried to handle asap hopefully with a good end for all involved parties.


    BTW: I will be back in game - maybe tomorrow evening - but lately on Sunday evening.

    Huor, thank you very much. And i might add that i'm not surprised that it took you only 5 minutes to respond. *big hugs* :)
    However, it's not about me missing console, but that this server needs someone who cares. Most likely that should be SPs (and we all know you are not the only SP here). And then some more, but SPs would be a very good start.

    It´s a serious matter for Players do disrupt Events and it´s not funny for those who wanna play the events - also Lucy is the best Event Manager we ever had around since i am here. She have to be covered with respect for what she is doing.


    For those who don´t know what i mean - Respect is something to be earned very hard. If ppl don´t have Respect for you, they won´t handle you with Respect - which can become a problem if they have Guns and Missiles equipped.

    Edit: It seems very sad to me that when we do try to assist, we get bashed for doing our jobs. Then when we get fed up with it and don't bother coming online, we are asked where we are.


    Futhermore if Lucy is running an event and the ONLY person to run ANY events atm, why the hell are any of you giving her problems? What will you do when she GIVES UP due to your immature actions?

    Even events aside for a moment, is this a concern for the community right now in terms of cheat prevention or any of the other roles they play? I agree with Gunny... from what I've seen the people who try hardest to help seem to be the ones that get most disrespected. Never really understood why that happens. Who are the serverpolice right now by the way? Hour and Wavey are - I see them around oftentimes, but I don't remember who else. What can the typical player do to take things easy on both the Serverpolice and event managers so that they aren't detered from logging on as often? O.o

    Killing a New player Freelancer on route to event isnt really funny. Uneccessary really!

    I have seen 3 SP in the last 6 hrs which is more than the entire time I have played. I find it strange when I have attended events, players with SP ability have been there on occasions and not helped out. I also find it strange that Huor is the only SP I have ever seen help out in the last 3 weeks.


    I merely state factual observations.


    Question? Is there a Frelancer SP or a freelancer representive? If so whom please? After all the clans have represatation? Anyone I can take a problem to other than a clan member?


    Why are clan system rules and server rules so hard to find on swat? How can a new player understand quickly what is correct?


    Is this a clan only server or are Freelancers welcome?

    I would like to say: show some common sense. But sadly, that's like telling the proverbial snowball in hell to stay cool.

    I have to agree with Lucy, Huor and Gunny on this matter.


    Being server police is about preserving the peace (whatever peace there may be left after a bad happening). These things will happen cause unfortunately the Earth is filled with jerks as such.


    However we CAN prevent such stupidity from happening by following simple rules given to us and listening to what event managers and SP's ask or tell us.

    That is already a downfall statement. When you luanch from New York with your first character on CF there is a GIANT board a little to the left of the first trade lane in front of you. Its really hard to miss plus it gives a link at the end of it of a site where you can go and read it yourself and should you want to know other clan system rules then just go to their site and search for it there. PLUS any new player should understand them quickly as its a simple request/rule. If you cant understand it then one should (and im being blunt here) be a noob for a day and ask questions. Its the honest way and people like it when one is honest.


    Going around and making the game not fun for others and disturbing the peace is unnecessary....I don't see how anyone can find that fun.


    and another thing, noticing SP's and event managers is not difficult. The badge is embedded in their names and on their accounts on the forum beneath the avatar section. If you still don't know then just ask....but for future reference I'd like to qoate Huor on who is current SP's. And im sure you all should know by now that Lucy is one of the event managers.

    Yeah, Kermit and Myric have no SP rights as far as i know, so maybe they see just not too much sense in bringing up their SP chars.
    LostHeaven and Canoso i haven't seen since last year (well, not true, saw LostHeaven the other day.) But i don't want to point my fingers at SP, i think Gunny pretty much summed it up how it is to be an SP.

    Basically what goes wrong is something completely different but since i wont be able to get my point across anyway there's no need to bother anymore.


    So let's just lean back, relax and wait for 1.8 because everything will be just peachy then.

    1. no (why not? i see people posting in the leader board who's clans ceased to exist months ago, or who left their clan even longer ago)
    2. nobody (i could think of a few freelancers perfectly suited for the job)
    3. yes, they all have. But then again, they also pay 300 Euros annually for their system rent.
    4. SP (yes, they are all clan members. But in my experience they can abstract from being in a clan when you approach them in their function as SP). If you can get hold of one, that is. Or to OP direcltly, as is mentioned in the console message.

    Interference in events is a SP matter (but in absence of SPs senior players can and should step in if possible to help)


    If the guy told the other guy he was going to an event - he should have been allowed to pass - I hope senior people in that clan will set him straight on that one


    P off new players is something we are very good at and it really needs to stop


    Lastly, imho, Clan (System) Rules are a BANE, a NOOSE dragging us down


    I would suggest they are simplified to improve FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT (My long running campaign) so that the main rules are:


    Show respect to other peoples property and to other people


    Freelancers or people that look new should be able to go where they please


    Clan members need to ask but it's ok if no one is around


    Kudos then to clans like BG, TRF and some others (I forget) who have relaxed their rules recently

    With 1.8 we can organize the Event managers and they will have rights .


    All SPs can deal with freelancer probs ,even tho we are from clans ,Our job is to help ALL pilots .


    OP does take the care of Freelancers as being very important but for the moment he is very busy ,so If you have a problem PM me I will answer asap and inform the SPs of the matter.(even while away I always answer within a few days)

    I was wondering, regarding server rules, clan rules and RP rules will there be a complete document published? Will this also be added to the Holo thingy in NY so us a new pilots can easily find it?


    I have read as much as I can on the boards here but especially with clan rules its hard to gauge what is current or not. I have found Swat very helpful and like what is being done here as a community but its very hard to understand or find things. Will Swat be changed at 1.8 as well (Gets here Dominatrix whip out...work boys work!).

    Bethany Event rules dont overule any others and no events are allowed to use clan space unless it has been arranged beforehand.

    They do change and people need to check them ,we cant keep changing the holo in NY and it would be very big lol.

    Indeed it would take much more effort to update the holo on new york than just act with simple manner of good behaviour. We are all somehow belong to mankind as and such we are known to make faults from now and then. Hence I request not be harsh at all relating server, clan or whatever rules.


    This game is meant to have fun in first instance and yet we are working for all to make compromises to fulfill this requirement. If - no matter what faction you belong to or what feeling you have actually - see anyone not following rules - pls be kind and try to explain and talk to players what you feel goes wrong. And if you feel mistreated - you can kindly report this to any Server Police or Admin. Fear to contact any of the Server police or Admin is out of place!
