    Just saw that the voting is on and as i didn't find any threat to remember voting i will do this easy task :)

    well since we dont have that many players like one year ago i doubt that CF has any chance to get into the top100 this year


    I tried to finish CF18 before the awards started but that didnt work due to thousands of small probs and not enough time
    Like i already said - i doubt that CF has a real chance this year and i also dont have the neccessary time to update the moddb page with new content

    Just Vote :P and as far as i remmeber, magnet was upadating the CF page at moddb with screens and videos. Why don't you magnet :P do that again. I doubt it is a hard work to do...

    i've just voted for a thing that is not concrete yet...i come on this website almost everyday but i'm not sure i will continue this year. one year ago you announce the mod will be finish soon. maybe it was a joke...

    OP had LOTS of issues on fixing things here and there. This guy had been working for over than 42 hours per day :D in order to finish CF 1.8 soon.


    Actually, CF 1.8 is expected to be launched still in January.


    The wait will be rewarded ^^

    the plans for CF1.8 one year ago:
    a few new ships
    a few new quests to tell the CF story
    a few bug fixes
    all together maybe 100-200mb of new code



    and what CF1.8 is now (based on the wishes and needs of the CF community):
    a 2gb bugfree mega mod where almost everything of CF and vanilla FL got reworked
    +100 new ships
    +many new custom stations
    +new graphics
    +new effects
    +thousands of new infocards
    +more systems
    +...
    +...
    +...

    just for people who think they cant download CF 1.8 cuz of the big size on dial up i may have a solution but its still in testing and may not work, but on my end, it seems to be corrupted free!!


    but you might call it a BETA as its still in testing :)

    *bump* Now 2 FL mods got into the Top 100, Crossfire and Freeworlds


    I know that here is a big amount of CF fans but I think it is the best if you vote for both since by this we have the greatest chance to get into the Top 5


    And I think this would be a nice option to show the world that FL is still alive


    (I am not advertising FW for my own purporse - I didn't even played it tell yet ;))
