    Think I'm ready to buy a fighter. Not sure which to buy? many players seem to use lagg. opinions please. Who do I ask too go to Sovetskaya?

    Judging by the stats Komodo Dragon and Phoenix seems to be quite a good one. Are they far and hard to get?

    The Komodo is not, the phoenix is good if you know how to use it. I'd jump on Saracen for a first ship.

    ^as Huor said, an Eagle is an excellence starter class 10 ship, and is competent in pvp.


    While the Lagg is popular at the moment, history dictates that sips tend to go in and out of fashion. So build yourself up 50 mil or so, then try some out for yourself.


    Remember that certain ships require certain styles of engagement. For me, sometimes a heavily gunned freighter is more useful than an agile fighter.

    True, the fashionable ship at the moment, for example, requires a lot different piloting than most of the other ones. That's why I recomended him the saracen, which is quite suitable for almost everyone.

    Eagle is an excellent VHF. I personally have great success in it.


    lagg is also nice, but I agree it's only a fashion atm. Also entirely too fast.


    Saracen is a nicely balanced VHF and it does fit almost every role for combat except for acting as a Cap ship.


    Shroud is nice too and many people have success in it. Same with the Predator and Arcangel.

    I would go for Lagg, Saracen or Shroud. I use Lagg mostly and I like how agile it is, the downside tho is that it cant take as much hits as...,for example Saracen...
