sorry, but the answer to ur question is "no". NPC do use batts a botts to be a match for the players with the better ships and weapons.
please go for a better ship (eg. Eagle) and some better weapons and equipment - then NPC will not be that problem any more...

might be a choice, but be ready to cough up ... 40mil?
you can also try the scouser in the same place for a couple o' mill less.

if you want to dock on stations too, your best shots are Bullpup3 (tho you can't get one :D), APC freighter and Armored Transport (the latter is in a clansystem if i remember right)

actual freelancer campaign starts
however it is a bit upgraded one
the costumes n all
but there is no exceptional campaign dat i heard regardin return of dom kavash n all
is it dat first we have to complete d actual campaign den n additional campaign iz activated o wat???

CF quests do not come in form of continuous missions presented by the game engine.
u need to read the news on any station to follow the quest step by step...

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me as I have the same exact problem as Luxor it seems. Could you be more specific on the name/location for that .dll? Fraps, for some reason, doesn't seem to want to respond to my hotkeys to play/stop/whatever, so any other solutions would be appreciated. I'd hate to have to record my launch every time anyway...
I've tried just about everything mentioned above, even disabling SLI and reinstalling quite a few times via the guide, but I just don't know... running regular xp 32 bit as well. Just wish I could get this running, wasted a whole night so far...
Also, I've tried setting the file path to not read only, but the status keeps reverting back... maybe because it's off a portable USB 500gb hard drive? I just dont know at this point... *shrugs*

Any ideas?
