    I found a Crossfire movie in the download database, but haven't had a chance yet to view it. I'll post a link if it looks promising... 8)

    i got idea for intro movie also, but i have no skills in such art
    the idea is simple, u see flyng shroud or other ship from cf , the view is from left (or right side nons top) he dodge some firings from DK motherships and fly on it and camera turn to the forwardof it and u see the big Dk ship than camera comeback to ship to cockpit from forward an u see creazy madman pilot who laught like madman o0 and on his helmet is swat sig he laught like idiot and suicide dk mothership than left only a piece of helmet in space between rest of junk what left and camera full zoom on swat sig and swat sig trun big on whole screena nd u got like paint swat logo
    i know is damn hard to make, but i think is rly fun and eaven lucasart was be say is awesome logo

    There are at least 3 movies in the SWAT downloads from CF (2 of them are BG videos). Apparently, these are not what OP is looking for, so have a look at them, and do something different... 8)

    I don't have ideas, but I guess it would be cool to remember that SWAT also holds other FL projects and also other games' projects, so it would be nice to put just sci-fi, not CF or vanilla FL related imo...

    Since the intro movie is specifically for CF 1.8, it would really be best if it had only stuff from CF in it, although it might have some of our community members in it as well. For other examples of mod trailers, check the FL movie downloads section, and see what creative things other communities have done... 8)
