Grrr...! I apparently muffed the drag & drop of the file paste (the reason I edited my last post). I get the launcher to work ok, but find no server IP once I get to the MP window... I pasted the files to their correct location again, even tried the 1.7a patch & FLDirect IP utility to the same result. Unless I hear of a better idea, now I'll have to re-install FL for the first time in many, many months [7]

Gunny have had the same problems (i don´t know his solution) please ask him CA.

oh my i thought that the patch is umm... foolproof^^. what could be easier than extracting 1 folder (or it's 2 subfolders) and moving it (them) to the proper directory?

ok the domain movement has been finished and the www.swat-portal.de is available again

im going to upload the CF page and all the other pages to the server in the next few days and try to get the dynamic updates of the CF clients running again

it might take until saturday or sunday until everything is working again like it should.
I also will try to re-code a part of the portal giving users the chance to add downloads to our download area.
The moderators will check these downloads and activate them if everything is correct.
I hope this way we can work together much better and share more work to keeping the content up to date.

the CF dynamic universe and the dynamic economy are very likly going to be reactivated this afternoon

the other missing pages are going to be online either tomorrow or friday
this weekend i might need a few ppl testing some of the vanilla ships on the server for me (i think i found the missile tracking bug for those ships)

Does this mean that we will not need the CF 1.7e patch anymore? (I'm having to clean out my FL folders for a complete replacement, since even vanilla FL will no longer launch correctly, and FLMM is completely ineffective ATM... )

the normal dynamic update procedure is running again... but it has to download 494 files again in order to work... after that everything should be fine again
the server will be online again in about 30min - 1 hour (doing some final changes atm)

OP, at the moment the launcher download 484 files then stops and say:
"Crossfire update not found....Only single player aviable [E4]"

If i try again it begin to download from file 6 and jumps to file 466 then download until file 484 and i get the same error again.

Edit: the version bug should be fixed in about 5 mins
does any1 else have the problem with file 484? coz i have problems to see whats wrong there... the code looks good and the file is also ok

Edit2: maybe you should check if the files in your FL directory are write protected

Edit3: yes the info is outdated... but that shouldnt be a problem since i would have to recreated all that stuff for CF1.8

Yes i have the same problem as 484 - i have tried this on 2 pcs and the result is the same.
