1)What is SWAT Portal?
SWAT is a Centralised Hub for many Sci-fi Games. Here you will find a lot of information, news and guidelines about the offered sci-fi games. You also may choose to talk/discuss any topics in the forums, via mail or just chatting with your friends or other people who like to join the SWAT Portal as well.
We have just completed 5 Glorious Years.
2)Who runs this wonderful place ?
SWAT is run by SWAT OP-R8R and XL-R8R. He is the Administrator and he is supported in his activities by his group of Moderators, Server Police and friends.
3)How many and which games are supported by SWAT ?
SWAT supports over 14 Sci-fi Games and also their sequels.
The following are the Games supported by SWAT :-
1)Darkstar One.
2)Eve Online.
3)Freelancer.
4)Freespace. (1, 2 and Open Source).
5)Infinity.
6)Jumpgate Evo.
7)Nexus.
8 )Privateer.
9)Spaceforce 2.
10)Starlancer.
11)Starshatter.
12)Tarr Chronicles.
13)Wing Commander.
14)X Universe.
We have many of the Mods made for these games here.
There are also forums for these games so we could all discuss, play and understand the game better.
All Type of Technical Help will be provided as early as possible and for free.
4)Should I register ?
The Forum is only accessible to Registered Users and since it is a very large community, it would be a good idea to register here. We have more than 5000 Registered Users and many are active.
5)I am not into Sci-fi Games that much but love to talk Off-Topic, should I register ?
We have Off Topic Forums and also Hardware Forums and other sections to keep all our problems solved.
6)Is this place like Lancers Reactor(TLR or LR) ?
This place is much better than that place as it has a lot more working downloads.
7)I am a Mod Owner and would like to list my Mod here. What do I have to do ?
Please register on the forums and send a PM(Private Message) either to OP or the Moderators to get your mod listed. Your Mod will also be shown on the main page as News.
8 )I have some important news which have not been posted still on Swat Portal ? Can I submit News ?
Yes all Registered Users can submit news but it will only be displayed after it has been verified by a News Poster Moderator.
9)I am stuck in some game at a certain mission ? Can you help me out ?
Yes. We have Walkthroughs and Forums for such stuff. Just post your problem and it will be answered quickly to the best of our abilities.
10)I want to see if the Graphics of the game are cool or not ? Can you help me ?
Yes. Please click the game that you want to know about and checkout the gallery.
11)How is this site funded ?
It is mainly handled by the Administrator but the Community does help through Donations. Please check out the link Donation Overview on the Left side of the Swat Portal and you will see a Donate PayPal Link on the right side of the page.Do donate some money by PayPal for the upkeep of this server. DONATE
12)I do not like people other than the ones from my country ? Can I express my dislike on the forum ?
Please stay away and you will be banned if any extreme racism is found in any of the posts.
13)Freelancer seems to be more popular on the Forum than Eve Online ?
Crossfire is mainly a Freelancer Server and Freelancer will be a Major Part of the SWAT Family at all times.
14)I think that certain changes can be made. Can I suggest them without getting flamed ?
Yes. There is a Suggestions Section on our forum. Please try and keep the suggestions clean and sensible.
15)Is SWAT Portal a Global Site ? Are members from different countries welcome ?
Yes. It is a Global Site. We have nice and helpful users from all parts of the world.

What is the SWAT Portal?

The SWAT (?? Special Weapons and Techniques ;D ??) Portal is the place to enter the world of various Sci-Fi games for nearly all people of the world. Here you will find a lot of information, news and guidelines about the offered sci-fi games. You also may choose to talk/discuss any topics in the forums, via mail or just chatting with your friends or other people who like to join the SWAT Portal as well.
This Portal is conducted by the Admins (SWAT_OP_R8R and SWAT_XL_R8R) and the Staff members (Moderators for the various topics).
The SWAT Portal is the global entry point for about 14 sci-fi games (... need to list them with a short summary of the game). SWAT also support modders, players, developers for the appropriate games.
(I am not that good in writing such things...)

There is also one problem as to who will get that map made. I could do that.

for example u could put that guy w/ drums as ur avatar instead of in ur sig
or go single-line instead of multi-line text[/SIZE]
