Lost Paradise issue - DO NOT VISIT atm!

Just a suggestion.

I think if possible, admins should set up a different faction (not GR) and use it to enforce no access to Lost Paradise.... Through force.

Spawning maybe 90 or so Nomad Bomber will encourage people to clear away... or those Nasty Ion Cannons set to fire at everyone and everything.

Well, it is only till bug fixed

This may sound silly but i talked with players, and one of them told me that this problem was in 1.9 also (strange thing is my brother and my friend were on the planet 3-4 days ago and had no problem leaving it).So if this was also in 1.9, check 1.8 source files of that system and maybe 2-3 systems before it and try to find the anomaly that causes this problem, i guess loading the wrong server and then false reading of the code. I'm not an IT expert, but maybe this leads you to the right solution

And about adding Nomad BS there is just wrong, it could be even the source of the bug, because when Forlon and i were checking it out in both cases were Nomad BS there.....

not possible - that will totally bug all chars

One of the contributing factors is the jump holes do not function correctly. Both getting to LP and coming back, the physical location of your character and the saved location of you character are not the same. The save location is correct but the system you are in is not correct. To get both to be in agreement you have to jump to LP or jump from LP as the case maybe. You will see you that you are not where you expected to be. If you log off and log on again you will be in the correct system. I reported this in 1.9 but no action was taken.

but we are aware of it and have a fix for the jumphole stuff in preparation

however
i checked every object of that system online and was able to locate the error and apply a temp fix
the server wont crash anymore but it might generate issues with when docking with the planet (might also work, dunno yet)... i will look into it asap

So, when will we be able to connect to the server again?

u surely don't know how CF-pilots tick

if there were 90 or even more Nomad Bomber most of us would go there to have FUN

The whole server crashed again, i'm not sure if some1 was at Planet Lost Paradise

the problem with lost paradise clearly was fixed

Maybe change it to Ion cannons, those work
