crossfire crashing

thats very weird... if the SP is working then such crashes should not happen at all

it is maybe stupid question, but are you log to Crossfire server 24/7? (you mentioned freelancer universe)

Crash is at pub::AI::ContentCallback::get_creation_type routine. Its seems to stop there when you enter the game server after selecting a char. Seems to be a general error. So probably something went wrong during activation or installation.

No idea what could fix this problem. Eventually try to consider to reinstall everything again...

Wrong server. The server is called 24/7 SWAT Crossfire RP (or something close to that -i dont look anymore )

you try to run the crossfire mod... correct?
and you try to connect to the freelancer universe server... right?

the crossfire mod does only work on the crossfire server and the freelancer universe server does only work there.
dont try to mix up things here
it wouldnt surprise me if you get such crashes running mods on the wrong servers

hey guys! I installed FL crossfire 2.0. I read the FAQ but unfortunetly cant get started game. i install the game, install mod manager 1.31, delete saved games, 3d sound deactivated, install crossfire and activated mod. but now i want to play SP game, start the game, pas the movies, appears screen, and then crash whit error

i was doing the installation several times, and allways the same. please help me guys, give me some ideas what to do!

Hello, can you please tell few things:
what operating system you have?
have you assured that antivirus do not remove some of game files?
can you please look the size and files/folders amount in your freelancer directory?
after you installed/activated mod, was there 1st launcher update and then bigger amount of files downloaded?

size is 8.06 gb. running win 7 Ultimate

hmm, yes launcher update started, then appears launcher and thats it.

we have here rly big amount experience with issues made by antivirus suites, most of ppl having probs with cf were coming from this. Please try check quarantine and you may try add FL folder into av exception list. If there are some quarantined files, is really good idea submit them to your av producer for check. ... it help avoid similar issues for other players.

note: sw off av is not enough, there are still running processes. btw, what av are you using?

i have McAfee.
hmm, when you mention av, I few minutes ago unistal it, now started launcher, updater started, then appears launcher and about few seconds later it was not responding. hmm will try reboot and try again.
