Okh, Okh, OukH! .. and hihoo !
Due to unforeseeable circumstance Captain Hanzo Hasashi was unable to lead this mission or attend at all. For reasons buried deep in his mind he entrusted ME, even though no clan-member of SA - even though no "human" - with the execution of his operational plans. WISE CHOICE
After collecting the volunteering pilots who came in time, despite the postponement due to Cpt. Hasashis foiling, at the SA main base in Omega-3 and some little delay at the jumpgate to Venn, waiting for some "just decided" further and - as should be proofed - very welcomed reinforcements, our task force assembled in Venn, at that point consisting of :
a delegation from merc-clan DP :
the starting freelancer pilots complement of
- Esox
- Apache-AH64
-
KLAATU, who stayed already at Weth (seemingly part of an Humanity-Dom'Kavash exchange program)
the well equipped delegation from the (very) free traders IOC
-
(IOC)SilverFox.*
-
(IOC)Asklepius (in a Repair Ship from IOC clans home system New Hongkong, which came very handy in further development)
our single SA clan officer
and as the officer in charge - me
Later on we were joined by a civilian explorer group that dwelt in DK-space

In a free and well-educated interpretation of Cpt. Hasashis detailed orders : " ... go there and kill them all !" I divided our task force on different routes, one smaller group taking the "southern passage" via Celldra and Pyrddra consisting of some the most experienced pilots, the other, bigger group on the "northern route" via Jormdar with the rest of the pilots relying on strength of numbers and the support of our Repair ship. Aim was to divert and confuse enemy forces until meeting of the two groups in Methpher to fight our way through in strength to Planet Pichon in Ryssk, then taking advantage of the possibility to reload at Mirrtrak in Weth, what was granted by the Dom'Kavash as their least part of this operation.
Almost immediately after setting courses our groups had to encounter the enemy in great force. Northern group managed with ferocious attacks to draw their main attention to enable Southern group leaving the area for their delicate mission of sneaking guerrilla tactics on a longer path. With setting course along the several enemy stations in this system Northern group had to fight - and destroy almost countless enemy fighter wings consisting of fighters, bombers or even gunboats alone. One wing, two wings, at one point even three wings at the same time were tackled. The doms tried to divert our group to take each of us down alone. It didn't work. Everyone stood up against the enemies together, no one was "left behind".
heavy enemy wings
This way almost no or only a very slow proceeding was possible for the Northern group. But plan seemed to work : while Northern group was heavily engaged, Southern group proceeded well, passing Celldra quite quickly, and it looks they even managed to disturb the enemy in Sadurn shortly. After northern group - finally - reached Jormdar our confidence was high after such mass killing of doms. Now we even dared to attack cruiser patrols. But maybe this was too much too early a success and we became a bit careless. We lost pilots Esox and (IOC)SilverFox.*.
However, reinforcements were on their way and an independent explorer group filled our ranks while brave KLAATU inexorably fought his way towards Southern group. Contact could finally be established between the two groups in Methpher. But this time misfortune struck the operation. A massively warping-energy loaded Ion storm hit us unfortunately much stronger than the doms letting us loose some of our best. The rest of us managed to reassemble and combine forces for passing trough Ryssk towards the main objection goal : Planet Pichon.
Well, ... "rest" ... . Now it was time to pay them back. Cruisers, Battleships, Motherships ... you name it, we attacked it.

All what we got
When we finally reached the jumpgate to Weth six of us were left, and it was decided not to strain our luck and forces any more. BUT THEY HAD TO PAY A DEAR PRICE for it. We based our-selves for repair, reloading and refreshment at Mirrtrak Battle station, awaiting reinforcements for the proceeding of the operation the next day.
Even though we could not fulfill our mission completely to free the region around Planet Pichon, the doms have brought to Inner Core just too many forces, we managed some relief for the settlement in distracting and destroying great enemy forces.
