I have noticed in the past the United Dom gunboats will jump into Weth randomly on occasion besides jumping in with the regular players jumping into Weth. As already said, the Ryssk jumpgate in Weth is a battlezone there, that's why there are three Dom'Kavash defense stations there folks, so watch your ass coming into Weth at the Ryssk gate at all times!

Regardless, when coming through the gate, flog those nanobots and batteries keys, hit the afterburner and hell, use the roll controls if you can and you're fast enough... The don't show up there everytime, it's completely random as I jumped into Weth today with zero enemy gunboats there.(which is kinda rare for me haha)

Sorry to hear of recent developments regarding your RL situation and UR's disbanding Verbose, I do hope things improve for you and that also the UR will return in the future. :(

Good fortune to you in all your future endeavors sir. :)

Gentlemen, I feel it's worth noting that the possibility of the FL code is quite likely very poorly optimized. Tack on that possibility with the fact OP has added about roughly an additional 50% more overhead due to graphic details, effects and so forth and voila'! Reaching 100% load on a single processor core is not that difficult to achieve methinks.

    AWESOME OP!!!

We'll get to re-enact two of the most well known battles of the Crossfire universe! The battle for X-3043, aka the "2nd Nomad War" and The Order's battle for Sol! SWEEEEETTTT!

I'm once again eagerly looking forward to some Freelancer single player action!

Sadly Tyrael, the only person I know offhand here at Crossfire that is from the UK is the SA's own Commander Peter Kirkland, callsign "FUD". He is still underage however, therefore I don't if he will be of much help in his understanding of the United Kingdom's legal matters concerning your questions. However he might know someone more educated on the matter, might not be a bad idea to try to get ahold of him and see what he knows or find out if he knows someone who might be able to help you.

I take it you're seriously considering moving to the UK and becoming a citizen there? :)

Hey OP, out of curiosity's sake, is there any way to implement the roll controls while OUT of cruise mode, aka mouse control mode? I figure that could make flying more interesting and challenging, for those who could implement it into their flying that is. :D8)

Bwuahaha, nice Lucy reference Shockwave. :D I think we all miss the ole pie-rat wench. :roflmao:

I'm in like Flynn if I get my servertime calculations right,(and I'm able to be there on time) even if this "playground" has been stomped across already...

It's not the Inner Core, but it's just as challenging sometimes, it's a good way for new players to explore the Unknowns as well, great idea dewd!

Bwuhahahahahah! That's pretty hilarious, thanks Faaby! :D:D:D Laugher is always a great gift!

DAMN Seqan, does that cake company deliver?!?! :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Thanks again guys, looking forward to celebrate the b-day properly this weekend! :D I'll raise a toast to you all and of course, I salute you all, you guys rawk!

Ya'll have a great weekend and don't kill all the aliens in the Inner Core just yet! Save some cuz we gotta have some for future expeditions!

Greatly depends on the ship... Some VHFs have really obscuring cockpits and some like the Redemption have a little to no visible cockpit in cockpit mode. However if the ship has little obscuring cockpit in view, I'll probably go for that due to better weapons tracking in PvP or PvNPCs.

BLAH! 36... *facepalm* Dang I'm getting on up there... *sigh*

Thanks for the kind words and sentiment ladies and gents, but it's not just my birthday either! It's also my fraternal twin sister's as well, Jennifer! :D

36 years ago my mom was expecting me, but she wasn't expecting her LOL! :roflmao::D (by a whole 4 minutes to be exact haha) Much love for my twin sis in Tennessee though!

On that note as well, I also want to give out a happy belated birthday to 3 other important ladies in my life, my awesome little triplet nieces, Lila, Ava and Kiera! They all just turned 4 last month! I love you my dear nieces, I can't wait to see you all and your mom/my sister again soon for Easter!

Thanks again you guys, ya'll giving this ole Louisiana boy the warm fuzzies LOL! :D:D:D Regardless of the nonsense that happens on the server sometimes, I still always enjoy *cough* (well, almost) all of you guys company, friendship and hijinks! Thanks and many blessings on you all! :)

Welcome back Tyrael! Things have heated up a bit, some freelancer pirates are keeping things interesting for sure lately... Here's to hoping that ASF/CSF battles will resume soon as well so that people can knock heads through it rather than messy clan wars. :P

As far as you guys in the IOC, I still see Rex Nebular around from time to time, haven't seen much of CA unfortunately though. I suspect since I'm in North American, I don't expect to see him much as assume he's in Europe.

Some oldbies are still around like (SMG)Picard, [CFPD]Gunny, {LP}Marauder, (FALLEN)Ryderhook and even Huor is still here...

I would be great to see more of you guys back on the server again and on Inner Core expeditions too Tyrael. Take care and hope to catch you on the server man!

    It only knows SA Orion.

    Ahhhh yes of course... :D

    M = Microns = ?

    Km = Kilo-microns = ???

    :D:D:D

Well, at best theoretical calculation of the astronomical measurements and data, our actual solar system, Sol that we actually live in is 0.00189754306 light years wide, which comes out to 17,952,143,451 or nearly 18 billion km wide. Soooo... As you can see the measurements in FL even in the CF's Sol system's model and measure of scale is rather... Off. :D So yea, let's go with micron and kilo-microns, perhaps the Alliance and Coalitions systems unit of measure. :P;):roflmao:

Oh yea, about the FL vs. real space comments... Well, you see how much it takes to create Sol and the bugs it introduces being a "mega solar system" within the FL engine... (i.e. ships "vibrate" horribly out near Pluto for starters) I guess Sovetskaya would be another example as well...

Now imagine how much a workload it would be on the existing server with ALL of the current CF systems created on that scale. 8|8|8|

    now back to topic:
1m is way too much.. Ppl with few milions will get bankrupted very fast. And ofc, rich bullies will have np with that coz they have 20-30 bilions.

    [irony]This, a million times this.[/irony]

Despite most people's "brilliant analysis" concerning this scenario, not all of us have the time some of you "professional gamers" have to sit on the CF server all day and run smuggling routes(much less legit trade/mining routes) to the tune of a level 100 character. I also find it ironic the supporters of this move are also the richest.

And spare me the "well that's your problem, play more" speech as that is not an option for most of us with a busy real-life schedule, real-life obligations or family.

Getting blown out of the sky to the tune of a million a pop by current pirates attacking below level 40 freelancers will surely end up running most newcomers off this server as well I'm afraid, it certainly isn't appealing to me to get caught up in PvP affairs anymore either. I've already seen Faaby get bankrupted today, I expect to see it happen to other clans and freelancer bystanders alike as well.

Bad form ole chap, I do hope you seriously reconsider this idea OP as little good will come of it. To me it seems nothing more than another "weapon" for the wealthy to wield over the poor here on this server.
