If you've got some headroom to up the resolution or graphic details on your current system Bond, I'd say you'll be just fine.
I'd say the current minimum system requirements will still hold with CF1.9, OP's only adding additional content, he's not adding pixel shader 3.0 or Direct X 11 or anything to the game engine! 
With that said, my mere Athlon 64 single core 2.2 GHz processor with 2 gigs of DDR 400 and a 3850HD AGP card more than suffice for CF 1.82.
In the end Intel is just gonna produce a product that works better like usual
...And then AMD releases another Intel surpassing multi-core processor and then we rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat...
See a pattern here? It's called "leap-frogging", it happens alot in the tech sector. It also brings competition to the market and drives down prices on such things like cpus for US all.
As far as my thoughts on Bulldozer and AMD, I root for AMD to finally take more market share to edge to 50% market share to gain market parity with Intel... But I also know due to Intel's(STILL) unethical business practices that have been going on for years,(and have successfully kept AMD and other competitors like VIA minimized or wholly given Intel pseudo monopoly position) this sadly will probably never happen.
As for Bulldozer itself, I wish AMD as much or more success with it as they had the Athlon 64/Opteron debut.

I love Project Eden! I got it from a friend of mine years ago and it's a great 3rd person/puzzle/action game! You really have to think to solve the "puzzles" from time to time and each member of your team is specialized in a certain area that is critical to your team's success in getting past an obstacle/puzzle throughout the game. The great thing is that even though if you lose a team member, they can easily be "regenerated" back due to the "re-intergrators" at certain points throughout the game, therefore you can never truly die or lose in the game! Some of the "puzzles" are unique and sometimes really require you to think outside the box to solve them. Overall, it's a great and unique game that I haven't really seen in a long time, I wish there was a sequel to it!
Definitely check it out for a nice change of pace from Freelancer or first person shooters.

Granted, there is a non-vanilla added lvl 10 turret in Crossfire, but IMHO, the guns is where it's at. I will say however the lvl 9 Buckshot and lvl 9 Skyblast B turrets are great vanilla turrets.
FWIW, Crossfire adds about roughly 9 new lvl 10 guns, some of which are much more powerful and useful over vanilla guns and especially the turrets. (I do hope OP will address this someday, I see some Crossfire alien species who use their own make of turret which would be nice for turret equipped ships to have and level the playing field in this regard against very heavy fighters IMHO)
Regardless, to help you in your journey in procuring the best turrets Daynox, here are some hints.... You will have find them, you cannot buy them and you won't find them in the Sirius sector.

By God I hope your suggestion works Riebens, this could finally end the BM illegitimate smuggling in CF once and for all. Finally, anyone who does not have a smuggler's license cannot transport BM goods, period! This will single-handedly revive the smuggler RP faction!
