Yeah I have to agree with Jack there, even with the regening npc's, I can still take out a group of high level corsairs in just a few minutes in singleplay, and on the server the time is cut in half because I have better fighter ships. Personally I love the regening npcs, it makes the gameplay funner, and of course, longer. As for the purpleness of the game, yeah I agree its not all that great, but hey, color only makes up a small part of a game.

Granted, you get 10 billions of punches to the face, thus leading to a fractured skull, a concussion, amnesia, amnesia, and eventually finding yourself stranded in the desert with amnesia, and no memories of where you are, or who you are.

I wish I could use magical powers in real life.

Granted but it ends up being a super awesome 3 inch toy replica drum set.

I wish my room would just stay warm ALL winter without the use of a heater, and without ever getting cold.

Jezz, by the time 1.8 comes out, I'll be so old I wont even be able to play solitaire, let alone CF, XD

I had a Reliant at one point, and I had massive issues with the Custo to X gate, however it seemed that all the other gates I used didnt have as big of a problem...so I just got annoyed with it and got an Osiris, which cured the problem, lol

I used to have the exact same problem, but im not sure if his problem was the same as mine. All I did was hack the modem/router that im using (Its a wireless quest fiber optic modem, that is about 3 blocks away from where I live) and disabled the internal firewall, and forwarded the port that my computer uses to play CF so that the modem allows CF to run at max speed. Ever since I did that, my CF hasnt had any problems...except for when my internet disconnects on me, XD

Also, from my experience the jump gate in Custodian to X seems to have big problems with battleships.

Hmm, try uninstalling everything, and delete any remaining files that the uninstalling doesnt remove, then reinstall Freelancer, and restart your computer. Then install the modmanager, then CF, activate CF, and start the launcher, dont bother with the 1.7a patch.
