egosoft have consistently said that it will never be a multiplayer game. this topic has been aired loads of times on the forums.
every player wants it to be converted, but we have always been told that it is too complex. I, for one, always live in hope of
it becoming a multi player game.

personally I think some of your quibbles were a tad pedantic. you should remember that a lot of the members and players don't have English as their first language. they have their native language plus several others, English included.

as an Englishman myself, I am in awe of their linguistic abilities, so wouldn't presume to criticise their English grammar.

I have to say, that since the new launcher was introduced, I have been continually crashing to desktop.

a little while back I was in the nomad hunt, doing fairly well, then abruptly crashed to desktop. the launcher had stopped working.

I still think that everyone is missing the point.

when a player buys expensive ship, expensive and better weapons, expensive and better equipment, then gradually his rank rises and he cannot hide.
I view the bank as a place to save hard earned credits for the next expensive buy.

incidentally,,,,if the people you are referring to hide their credits in the banking system, they cannot hide their rank once they have a decent ship and weapons and equipment.

the info that you have received is good.

remember that bombers come in to destroy the base, so you concentrate on taking down the rogue npc's and avoiding the platforms at first. after the base is down there are several other ships to help with the platforms.

the beginning isn't really too difficult, even with the basic ship.
