I guess that is the reason then, there is an awful lot that I still have to learn about the workings of the internet and forums, I will see what I can do about the spoilers then.
I am fully aware of the reason for "Spoilers" and that it is for an individual to choose to read them. I quite often choose not to read spoilers, however, on this occasion I wanted to read them
but have no choice if for technical reasons I cannot.

oh well, I will find out what they were, one way or another. I am nothing if not determined.

just checked my computer system and find that I have upto date Java and IE10 installed, are there any other reasons why I cannot choose to read spoilers????

I support Daverin's basic idea's and would very much like to see something like this happen in the next mod upgrade.

on a side note, how the hell does one read the spoilers, it has me beat

I thought martind forlan would go for the idea, he already does something similar himself, with the SA's and any others that he can draw in.

your understanding is correct. each major house planet will sell all pods at 200000cr but buy one specific type of pod for over 1milion.

I won't list the pods and planets for u here as I do not know how to create a spoiler, I can't even read a spoiler come to that.

however, see me in game and I will, of course help you, as will most other soultrain players.

incidentally, imo , the train is worth the large cash outlay, as it brings back loads of cash. it is a pig to fly, doesn't have particularly good shielding, has no bots or bats.
it is important to watch your rep, as enemies can shred u very quickly. another thing, when u start out to buy a soultrain, avoid docking at anywhere until u have actually
purchased it otherwise the collected commodity data on your exchange ship may become confusing. the soultrain can only moor at certain stations and most planets.

anyways, enjoy your purchase, I will no doubt see u in game.

as a relative newbie I thought I would put my 2 cents into this discussion

I wholly agree with tyael and cygna. I am gradually getting used to and being drawn in to RP, with the kind help for forlon. to be quite frank, when I see these quabbles and bullying that have occurred on the MP server
and the rows here in the forum, it makes me want to lose interest and just do my own thing.

personally, I think OP, the Devs and the moderaters do a very good job, but at times it must be exasburating for them with all the moans and groans.

so my request and hope is some of you just damn well grow up and play the game as it was mean't to be. I can say this because of my age, the average age on the server is mid twenties. so please grow up, act like adults
and play nice.

there, I have said all I have to say on the subject, u all can like it or lump it

oooops some how this reply is in the wrong thread, how could that have happened, I thought I had put it into the thread about the arguing and bullying earlier this week

I had the same experience a few days ago trying to log into this forum. I have no idea what is/was going on and was getting nowhere fast. my final solution was to reload from a system
restore point, which was a pain in the ass. however, it cured the problem.

it was maybe a bit extreme, but I was getting frustrated.

with all the replies that u have had, you should now have a fairly comprehensive understanding of CF weaponry and ships to take into battle. I also have gained a lot of invaluable information, and for that thank the contributers.

when u are in game, do not be afraid to ask questions, you will find, by trial and error, that many of the players are very helpful and relish passing on knowledge to new players. I have benefitted greatly and would recommend this
mod to anyone who loves playing Freelancer. I could never go back to the vanilla game now, it seems so limited with hindsight.

anyway, enjoy your game, become involved and as you gain experience and knowledge don't forget to also pass it on to new players.

basically what ajay said, plus I would add that if u are skilled enough take down a load of nomads and pick up any guns they lose. if u use them they do not draw any power, so are quite powerful in the own way.

the commodities and prices change every day after main server reboot. it is called a dynamic economy. so that programme wouldn't have been any use for commodities anyway.

ps with enough research, you will be able to find near enough anything, just saying

i am retired now, but when i was working, one of my friends use to compose and play music, similar to yours. he still works at the same place but in his spare time he does gigs
and is the musical director for an amateur theatre company.

your music reminded me of him, who i greatly admired. you both are very talented.

keep going, your music makes people happy.

u guys, most of you have been members a lot longer than me, and not noticed Chat at the bottom of the Forum page.
it is a feature, and obviously underused. it is an ideal medium to chat without having to go on-line into the game.
it should be used more, IMHO.
but hey ho, who am I to dictate members choices. though if this post creates a topic of conversation, that is a good thing. ?????

absolutely brilliant bit of news. ok i sometimes pick a BOT topic, but in the main i ignore most of them and wade through to the other topics.

now love the fact that BOT can be totally ignored. he is probably a very nice person giving a lot of useful infomation for the members. but i don't have a games console and am never likely to own one.
