Thank you boys. I've calmed down now. And all on my birthday! I love this sim. I just explore. Leave the fighting to others. In case you don't know, Martind and I are working on completing the mapping of Sirius. I'm putting the images together with his guidance and oversight and I'm really enjoying it.
Well ...... every thing seems fine now. So I will record all the advice for speedy action next time. Thanks again.

I keep getting asked to logout and login again. Constantly!!!! Which I do, only to get asked again immediately!!! I'm trying to put something back into Crossfire 2.0 but if I can't stay on site what hope have I got. Other than this and that many of my replies never sea the light of day, God only knows why, I'm a happy little vegemite.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case. Its just that, in conversations with Martind, I called something (in the title) by the wrong name. We are working together on completing the maps for the Sirius Sector. I'm using the conversation titles as a record of my progress in producing images for the maps. In my pedantic way I was trying to tidy something up. No problem. I'll record them another way.

Its all in the title of this thread. Is it possible? If so how? Thank you.

Am I right in saying you now have the satisfactory larger map (with Leon Base added by editing)? The large one you've shown above? Or is there still a problem with the added edited text for Leon Base? Colour? Font? etc?

Bugger! That's embarrassing ...... but understandable. As I explained to Denne I actually have NOT explored NEW HONGKONG. Its not in Sirius but I happened to be there looking for that Coalition JH and thanks to Denne I found it. I took a screenshot of the unexplored system map and noticed there was a meeting point of 3 trade lanes but nothing shown there. So I went and had a look only to find the meeting point had nothing there but had a name. So I added the name to the picture hence the term draft in the title. Its not meant to be a finalized systems picture, its meant to find out what you thought about my adding the name. Sorry, its all been a bit confusing. I have no intention of exploring it (currently). Its not a priority. Soooooooooooooooo .... what did you think about my adding of the meeting point name? The quality and relevance?

Edit: On second thoughts I'm leaving these posts about NEW HONGKONG here at this thread. It'll only cause more confusion if I move it.

See attachment. Can you pick where I've added something? Sure you can ..... and its not a "must have", but IMHO it would be "nice to have". What do you think?

Edit: I might be able to match the colour better if that would help .....

Edit 2: Damn! I've put this in the wrong thread! It should be under " Sirius Sector Map and Region Listing". I'll move it later .....

Edit: I've change my mind (I was favouring Bretonia). However upon reflection if there was no Crossfire 2.0, Hyperion would not exist as it was never in Freelancer 1.0. Just a thought.

I assume we are taking about the Hypergate in the Omega-3 System in the Sirius Sector or is there another gate elsewhere? Need to be careful what we say here. It could be a Spoiler for others. Don't know yet how to include a Spoiler .....

That makes it easier for me. There is however, what I would call "a nice to have" coming up with the system map for New Hongkong. NH is in Altair so things might be different there. More about that later. We might not need new maps at all. ..... me >>>> ...... me >>>> ..... me >>>> .

Sorry. Yes we are talking about the same thing. Its just that I don't go there at the moment as I'm focusing on Sirius and what I see as its map short comings. I've really done no exploring in Altair other than look for that gate following your input. Even in Sirius I don't like looking a the Wiki System Maps until I've finished my exploration. It spoils the fun. I just haven't explored anywhere in Altair yet (other than New Honkong) and it was my fault for not checking its Wiki Map at my conclusion. Poor excuse but so be it. Thanks again mate ...... its been great fun for me. Have a laugh at my expense.

Bugger me!!!! There it is!!! What sort of explorer am I!!! Gees ..... please don't Mr Forlon ...... I'll loose my job! Has anybody been able to get through it? Did they build a matching gate at the other end, where ever that is/was .....? Thanks Denne. I'm in your debt.
Just another point. You mention the wiki-map. Are we talking about the same thing or am I missing something else?

Martind? Do you think the Map Version should be included on the Map. ie. CROSSFIRE 2.0
Distinguish it from other versions eg, FL4.88 Maps or CF1.9 Maps.

Reply: Checked it out. Its called the New Hongkong Triangle. Nothing there other than the meeting point of three trade lanes.
