I can transfer from my event account to the chars who are goin to manage events. In the beginning I did manage from my own char to give away the prize money and even Petrus and Wavey help me out. But there are 3 Event chars so everytime that an event manager doesnt have the money you could ask Petrus, Pia_DArkstalker, and myself for the prize money...just sent me a pm or email the night before of the event (or even the week before) and I will be online to give you the credits for the prize money.

Just like X games and well JumpGate and EVE online. That is a hard task to acomplish, especially on a game that kind of interaction was not in mind when they release it.

That would be a great addition to any mod out there in the Freelancer community so I hope you can pull this out...

Hello Everybody,

I am here to announce that freedom (as soon as I get all fix up) will open his doors as a clan.

Some of Freedom parameters are working on:

1st.- Freedom would not just be a freelancer clan. The objective is to participate in another games too toguether with the SWAT community. For the time being, we will be part also of the old Starlancer community. That means that our trainning will be concetrated in Freelancer and Starlancer.

2nd.- Everybody in freedom would have equal participation except for the code of honor Im working on. Anything that goes against that code will be NOT accepted.

3rd.- The role of freedom is to protect and assist the freelancers in CF and to became a military force in Starlancer. We help people to find their way, gear up with some basic equipment, protect honest traders for piracy and abuse from any other freelancer or clans ;), and trainning ops to improve our skills in flying, fighting , trading, and helping people.

4th.- Any player could participate in freedom as long as they keep our Code of Honor. This means that no mater what is your skill (fighting, trading, exploring, PvP) you could be freedom material.

5th.- When everything is sorted out, we would have our own clan system in Crossfire where we do all our trainning and initiation clan operations. yes, initiation, a set of task to become a member which will change from time to time and it will be set by the members at the time of initiation.

6th.- Members would wear Police tags all time when they are fullfilling their role of helping and protecting others and Mercenary tags when they are trading and escorting people.

7th.- Im working on a new ship. After I finished it (it will take at least 1 month more) i will send it to OP, if he approve it and introduce this ship in CF, it would be our clan ops ship. It would be available to anyone but in our system and if we would give people permission to pass or they would sneak under

8th.- We already have a forum, but Im working on the sections and other set ups

Anyway, if you read clear enough these are still ideas in most of cases and I working on fullfill each one. More news about freedom would be available soon and I hope this would become a reality

Update from Evochron Playground

OP, I tested the new version of Evochron and the only thing that is not good is the graphics. I think the developer concentrated a lot on the games space dinamic and interactions rather than moddelling. A lot of bugs were fixed since my last tried. Also, for my Aerospace Eng. point of view this (taking out the graphics and some weird AI behavior) this game is the closest you will get on space sim. You have like 10 degrees of freedom here. That mean true control on lateral and vertical thruster, inertial motion, and lot of things close to real space but much easier of course (like jumping 20 years from now in the future of AE equipment) I sent an email to the developer and he told me that there like 30 more system that could be configure for the game. Besides, it is joystick driven and the control were set easy enough to not spoil the fun. In few words, it feel real, more than JumpGate was to me.

I want my wing commander days back. I didnt revive this thread to fill out a petition but to encourage players to look anything close and good enough to a joystick oriented game out there. However the point still unanswer and maybe not too may wont still come out the closest but I fired the question anyway:

How many of us are/were joystick oriented players???

Well, I never cease to look for a good joystick game and since I got too much involved into online games (anything that is close or actually a space sim) I found long time ago this webpage but didnt really get into it until now:

There are different types of games (depends on your taste but all of them are space sim/joystick oriented) there. Graphics are not too good though and still some bugs when you dock in a planet (yes, you actually entry the planet and land on a platform manually or auto when you get close) However, the Evochron game has potential from my Aerospace Eng. point of view plus it could get up to 24 people online. There are 3 other space sim game there where 2 of them are pure PvP/team oriented (starlancer type and more) Anyway, I just tried the demos so far on each so it would be nice to have some other input.

I love this community here but i found out that it has been too long since I use a joystick (because of the mouse oriented market) that I got too rusty playing with it. I have a blast/fun/great time playing with OP and Petrus in Starlancer and I definitly want to get back to play Joystick oriented game (especially now that my wife is getting me a new Joystick) I have played so far too much mouse oriented game such as Eve Online, Earth and Beyond (before it closed down) and of course Freelancer. But to tell you the truth, I miss my online time in jumpgate. I tried to come back there these last days with my old account but support is not as they use too be at Themis. Now that my currency exchange problem is temporaly solved I can afford to buy or rent some stuff at least for this year so Im planning to do that.

Anyway, i want you guys to check this site out, especially EVOCHRON and tell me what you think, espacially you, OP, I value your input on it.

I tested those in single player and I like them (not talking

about the turret) plus it will give you another gun besides the phoenix with good range

and fire punch....

Ahhh..and at least one place to land in coalition space. Since we

are going to be working toguether with these guys, one place to land would be

nice...

Doing Alt+F4 did the same thing as long the server

There are more spanish spoken people than english spoken people. The facts

shown on that link are base on demorgraphic or population area but not what real spoken

language people. By the way, My facts come from courses I took in USA such as minorities

courses (non considering as minority anymore) and Linguistic courses plus some more info

from some university proffesors

As you could see on those page it would be difficult to

determine either english or spanish....As it was stated from college profesors. A big

majority of USA population speak spanish in some states and they dont even use english as

1st language but 2nd. Then your numbers will go way down.

As for Mandarin, no doubt

about it and I was the first to point out that. As for Hindi, well it goes up and down as

the others.

By the way, there are no bigger language than other. Each one has his own

culture involve so that is a wrong way to state more people speak one language than others

(doenst matter what point of view you were talking cause the sole use of the word "Bigger

than yours" has its intrisic connotations and no matter what you tried to mean with

it)

demand a powerful computer. I have 128 med nvidia card and it almost goes in slow motion.

The intro is hell, if you leave it on it will hang your machine. Anyway, I need to know

hardware especifications and when the crash happen and if you recive any kind of warning or

screen after the game crash.

I also played with an images, really hard to pass by

Starforce 3 (one of the main reason not to many people would buy the game) But always there

is a way and it would run faster playing from the original.

So, it is not

for us to dock there. Just Server Police and he Admin has the faculty to dock there. I hope

Privateer was indeed referring to spanish. There are more spanish spoken people than

english spoken. Where? Look almost all South America and the whole central and a portion of

North America (by the way, North America is not just USA, I was referring to Mexico cause

Mexico is part of North American Continent) Plus Spain in Europe. Even, when I was studying

in the USA and I took a course of minorities studies, spanish spoken people were not

considered a minority anymore. There are even States that Spanish sign are been use cause of

the amount spanish spoken people in those USA state. From the countries I mention, besides

USA, Spanish is the first spoken language. As for english spoken people we could not confuse

land extention to amount of People.

And for the most spoken language in the wolrd

today is Mandarin as the Mandarin is the official language of China, Taiwan and Singapore

therefore the most widely spoken languages in the world.

And portuguese is definitily

not spanish language or dialect.

About dutch, it was widely spread in some of the

caribbean island coming from its mother-land. SOme of the caribbean island are Curacao and

Aruba where they do still speak the language (dutch) plus papiamento-...

As for most

spoken language in the world history is the indo-european language where part of many formal

language came from and it is not from latin eventhough many word roots come from there too

in many language around the world.

You just touch I subject I love and this is not an
