@OP, if may I say, I never found a version as stable as

this 1.56 Great Job...I have been like 4hr on and it was flawless last three hours...no even

yellow.

Great work OP, I heard pretty good

reviews for this new version 1.56 of CF mod. Well, it is 3am here, in the south continent

Well, i goin to get out all my previous installations of CF and make a fresh intallation of

Freelancer then wait for ver. 1.56 to be able to download so I put a clean version on my

FLMM.

Wooow...3 years, I only has been here for almost 5 month and it became a home already for

me. therefore, I just want to say:

One bad apple spoils all good apple. You just need

1 person with corrupted files to crash the server. So, if some people already fix the

problem and get in, play for a little while then the server crashes, please dont think is

you. It could be someone that got in after you and crashed the server. Also, the server wont

crash instantaneously until the corrupted file kick in so it is a really hard task to find

out. I just leave up to trust. If you did every thing was said to fix the problem, it is not

your fault. But for the people or person spoiling everyone else game you will be found

sooner or later.

SO far the server crashes several times with ver 1.54 and this didnt happen

before ver. 1.55 came up. There are already multiple threads of what need to be done and I

think people still not listening. It is up to us

Im not sure and I dont want to be an spammer but you could

not play ver 1.55 when the server is on ver 1.54 or vice-verse. I dont want to speculate

either but to OP:
I have a fresh intallation yesterday for freelancer + ver 1.53(reviewed

one) + 1.55. After a while, I couldnt see the server (I have the only compatible server icon

on) so I checked so it was 1.54. Could be that people instead of deleted the 1.55 wacko

client on and then reinstall ver. 1.53 + update 1.54, they just applied the ver 1.54 update

on the 1.55 client cf on the fl manager. Now, the server recognise you as 1.54 and you could

even login but maybe files are corrupted cause you have the 1.55 when you repatch the 1.55

to 1.54.

Anyway, I wondering about that cause I did that yesterday and I login then I

realized...wooaaaww, I need a clean install of 1.53(reviewed) plus 1.54

patched.

Anyway....didnt mean to get into spamming stuff but from what I read in the

forum I havent see that

while I was reading the forum and then writing this I found that what I have just said has

been already disscuss 30 min ago.

SOultion m8, please everyone has a clean install

which means ver 1.53 (reviewed + 1.54 update) in the FL manager

I just got home from the office and I just finisshed to dowload the update. The file name

is: Crossfire1.55update.zip.flmod

I goin to try in few cause i jhave installed my new

120 Gig SATA HD (no big deal but much better for my work) Anyhow, Iam reinstalling the games

on my computer (dont worry OP, I know you too busy, but this time I safe my mp ID

)

Assault Event on 10/12/2005[/SIZE]

In this event took part for

team1 Matze, Corp, Wardragon and me, while in team 2 was Darkstalker, Spirit, Dragoness,

Jtak and Fallen Angel.

The event was nice and equal, but due to some problems, ended

with a draw between both teams, and all players of both teams took their

prize.

Before that we did an mass pvp fight in Arena, 2 rounds, first only with guns

and second with all weapons, in both rounds the winner was wardragon and took the prize for

winner.

Congrats to all players who join the event.

SOme questions

first:

1.- On which version did you creaed your chars 1st time?

2.-Did this

problem happen before the new ver 1.53, or before the patch 1.54, or after the patch?

3,. Did you try to do a fresh installation of FL and CF mod wit a new id. number and

create and erase new chars?? if you didnt, try this please (if you have the time and

patience)

Remember, for question, please safe your previous id. number so you wont

loose your chars (believe when I said SAVE THAT ID# before you try a new

one)

It is really cool to

see more people interested in SL. You wont be dissapointed after you try it. It is joystick

driven but as I said before it feels naturals. And to maneuver inside (no around) an

asteroid to avoid being hit will pump your adrenaline up. Feel the Freedom, Feel the Rythm,

Starlancer, here we go!!!

PS: Starlancer

Reborn is a Freelancer mod and no joystick is required. On the other hand, Starlancer is

just Starlancer and Joystick should be used to fly.

PS: Remember, these are just

suggestions that poped up out of my mind...

I want to thanks OP for taking the time to give me my

first trainning lessons. I want to say that playing Starlancer normal campaign, demo, and

sim is nothing compare of playing the multiplayer version. If you guys has the chance to

play the SL MP, I encourage you to do it but be aware if you didnt have this kind of

experience with this type game before. There are a lot to things to learn and of course, you

will be using a Joystick (which is a really wonderful experience after being a while of not

using it myself) It just feel natural and free...

Well, I going to be practicing to

improve my flying skills in SL and there is much to assimilate from these first 4

lessons.

OP, Thanks again m8 and I invite the community to give it a try so you will

see what Im talking about.
