  • Btw, this is the landing page of the first google search result for Freelancer Crossfire.


    There is also an inconsistency between the donation status' requirement displayed on that page (90 EUR) VS the donation status displayed elsewhere in the portal - eg: Dashboard (10 EUR).


    @Whoever is going to update this page: please rephrase/restructure the content so that it contains information on how to update existing Crossfire installation using the Launcher files 2.0.1


    For example:

    • Install the original Freelancer game.
    • Download Crossfire Mod 2.0.1.
    • Install Crossfire.

      OPTIONAL -> Perhaps we can add details on the installer process and configurations under a spoiler tag. If yes, then we must find a way to replace the word "Spoiler" with something more relevant - eg: "Details" or "Installation steps".

    IMPORTANT:


    If you already have an older version of the Crossfire mod installed (such as 1.9 or 2.0), you must update few files from your current installation:

    1. Download the new files: Crossfire Launcher files v2.0.1
    2. Unzip the archive.
    3. The extracted folder ("EXE") - contains five files that you need to place in the "EXE" folder of your current Crossfire installation.
      • Make sure that you confirm the overwrite action when and if prompted by your operating system.
