problem -Updates every time

    i dont know if i'm the only one getting this problem...


    every time i launch the launcher, it downloads a hell of a lot of updates for about half an hour at least, including all the ships sur files, i know there was a change last few days, but is it changing every few hours? because it downloads EVERY time i connect. maybe there is a problem in the code of checking for the timestamp or version of the files?

    you aint the only person, mate .... server is a bit abondon cuz of this problem, but im sure OP is trying to think out something to fix that ..

    haegar seem to have found the error with the updates so i will story working on a 1.71 patch and fix the update instead

    Launcher seemed to work for me now.....but I landed and sold cargo at Dawson base and every time I try to launch to space I crash (says lost connection)...it doesn't seem to be crashing the server, just my connection :(


    EDIT: Had to jettison the cargo...i tried at several bases and kept crashing. Others online said I wasn't crashing the server...so thats good news ?(

    ok haegar has done some changes on the launcher to make it more compatible somehow
    ill test it asap and try to find a simple way to get this launcher on ur hdd


    hopefully that will solve the remaining problems

    Mine has changed now to error update not found only single player available after downloading a load of sur files have i missed a thread somewhere? if i have point me in the right direction and poke me in the eye and i'll hush....

    can u please give the error number (like [E1])? and did u try download several times? did it still download "in a loop"?
