F1 bug or what??

    Okay, i am a little bit angry about this F1 fine...
    I went from sol, to new london with my mates. I had about 1,4 mil only. We fought with Dons, but reached london. I docked, and i want to check my other chars and pressed F1. Then my m8 said that i lost 1,4 mil, because using F1 in combat. Combat??? wtf?! [3] i wasn't in combat at new london, and what is this fine? I lost 1,4 mil for nothing.


    Can sy explain what the hack is going on? If i want to play, and fight with NPC-s, and quit, i loose money?? [3]

    yes, its just the way you said it:
    fines are now 1 million.. if you want to switch chars , dock on a base and make it them ... if you switch it In it space while you are fighting, you will lose money ...

    actually, i was undock after i dock... and press F1 in front of the planet, without any agression, no shoot, no hostile fleet.


    Inferno: i wasn't in a fight... next time read not just answer...
    and i lost not 1 million, but 1,46 million.

    yes... i have 0 credit on that char right now.


    The good thing is that no one can tax me :D But it's a little bit stupid, that i fight with npc-s, and when i want to change char after i killed the npc-s, i get fined...

    i did not change anything on the "Fine for F1" part of the new FLHook version...

    Since yesterday i saw when someone F1 something like this:


    While traveling in Space between systems xyplayer F1 and will be set to his last docking position...


    And i love to see this!


    btw.: i even love to see that ppl are heavy fined when pressing F1 in outer space ;), and of course i love the new /setbounty command too :D

    i see... well i was fined for 1,46 million.


    If i don't want to be fined, how should i quit?

    It wasn´t an offense! And not meant personal to you...


    You know this is an RP server when traveling in space you was easy able to avoid RP by pressing F1.


    1. Example your are smuggeling see some police force on their way in the chat window - easy press F1 and you are out of trouble.
    2. Example a pirate is in the system you press F1 and are out of trouble.
    3. Example You need to join a battle but you are far away from the next docking possibility, press F1 switch the char and you are one system away from the battle...
    4. Example you need a weapon from a special wreck - well just place a char in it´s near press F1 and wait for a server restart.


    Now you need to think twice before going out by F1. This and many more similar situations is why i said thanks for this features.


    As an act of understanding for your situation and bec. it was new to you - just ask me ingame for your lost funds - i will give it back to you. So you lose nothing and next time just stay docked ;)

    i understand, and i don't have problem with that...
    my problem is that i was NOT in combat... and only shooted by NPC before... but i docked at London, then undock, then my m8 ask me about one of my char, so i want to check where is that ship, and i get fined! not 1 mil, but all of my money was taken...
    and i think this is not good.

    ...and next time just stay docked!


    So imO,
    something was new for you,
    you lose some Money,
    the community will give it back to you,
    you now have no losses anymore,
    you accepted the new tool in a positiv way,
    nothing happened to you except
    some realy good new things,


    all should be positiv now - right?!

    but when i kill that sbdy the combat is over... and yes, i killed the NPC in sol.
    and if the fine is 1mil, then don't take more money then 1 mil.

    The software behind this apparently cannot distinguish from NPC and player combat


    AND/OR


    It cannot tell if NPCS are near whether you are in combat or not - how could it?


    I recomm you F1 only when docked


    Or - you check your scanner for ships and if there are any in vicinity, you dont F1

    @usul - If i ever see that you (bad stuff) about other clans again (no matter if you hide it in Roleplay stories or say it public) it will be the last thing you have said here in this community.

    sbdy should try this - i only saw the messages but suppose i´m not able to be online today...

    30sec after the last shot did hit you and you if f1 then you get fined


    it has nothing to do with being docked or not... its just time related
