Poll Gay Clan

I was not here......for whatever happened, but from what I could find in the forums.....it was not pretty

Maybe I should have no vote....but mine is maybe...and will gladly accept the communnity vote.

One word of caution though friends......"we have had enough trouble getting rid of people that dont fit in this community" .....that seems to be the downfall of a lot of "communities / civilizations

Even this poll seems to divide this community.

If 30% of this community left because they believed that we are "Gay Bashers" it would be devastating.

This referendum is not about Gay or Straight.

I remember the first time the Gay Clan came to CF. We were told that Gay means happy and carefree. We were instructed not to persecute a clan because the are named Gay. I have never seen before nor after a clan being protected in that manner.

This community went the extra distance to welcome the Gay Clan. I myself counted the Gay Clan as friends but then the terrible and vicious actions by the Gay Clan began and were becoming worse as the days went by. The Gay Clan was banned.

The Gay Clan some months later petitioned the members of this community for a vote to return. The Gay Clan said they realised the error of their ways and were different in attitude and action.

The community voted to allow for the return of the Gay Clan.

Within a few weeks the Gay Clan returned to their abominable behavior. Killing new players, cursing players, bigotry of all kinds, constantly correcting and making fun of the english of people that english is not a first language, ect.... It was horrible and drove many players and a few clans away from CF.

The Gay Clan was then banned for a second time.

Now the Gay Clan tells us again that they have realised the error of their ways and are different in attitude and action.

The purpose of this post is not to try to sway people in their votes. This post is to explain why so many people voted against the Gay Clan. This vote has nothing at all to do with Gay or Straight. This vote is about a group of people that hurt us deeply. And imho will do it again.

The posts on this forum represent only the tip of the iceburg. The conduct of the Gay Clan was far worse ingame.

A funny thread until someone from the Gay Clan gave their opinion.

There are many other threads as well but these few will give a good understanding of why people voted against the GAY clan reinstatement.

I´ve read this - and well this told me that it´s a very good idea to trust this community.

I thank you all for contributing to this poll. My clan although disappointed will be moving to the Monkey server or Takagi's Treasure.

You can come join us but i guess you wont.

My Clan will not be re-joining SWAT Server in the foreseeable future.

I will re-try this poll in 6 months and see if the feelings about my clan have subsided.
