SL departs/disbands

I'd like to add a little to this:
I'll be checking ingame from time to time as SP, but my RL doesn't allow me to be ingame alot atm anyway.
If things within SL and CF will change before systemrent is over, we might reconsider persueing the SL dream.
Anyone who'd like to do it for us is free to contact us.

Well as there is no longer access to the SL forum that i was going to leave a joint post on from myself and Warlock i will state my views here....

Over the last moth or so since we joined SL myself and Warlock have been disapointed with the clan in several ways of which the main reasons were stated on the SL forum so i wont o into too much detail here....
We have been in discussion for some days as to whether or not to continue with the clan...the main reason being just about all we have done since joining (apart from a contract or 2) is escort our own new/returning members to get ships and equipment (escort yes not supply them), and once we have escorted these players they seem to have disappeared of the face of the earth not to be seen again and this did not happen just the once. Adding to that the discussion as to which side to join (ASF/CSF) never took off at all after the first post in the forum and without taking part in this part of the RP there is NO space on the server for a merc clan as has been said before, ok one or two assisnation contracts in retribution to other clans being attacked but in now way full stop is that going to keep a whole clan on its toes, now I say whole clan.....there has been no whole clan from the start, members have come on maybe just got a ship and some equipment and gone... or not come on at all..of the 22-23 members registered on the forum i have seen all of 5!!! of them 1 being myself, Warlock, Gust and the others that we helped to get started, Gust yes i know has said on several occasions that he has had pc problems but still managed to partake in one certain contract.....other than that all i have seen do is sit in Telosis, one time we were moaned at for not seeing an intruder, the next i was the 1 to point out an intruder whilst Gust was on and asked him to deal with it as i had no ship nearby at the time..........another time we were told not to expect an answer as he was reading a book....hows that for taking part not to mention sitting idle on the server and breaking stated server rules
As a final word it seems to me that myself and Warlock (if you do not know by now is my father) have wasted an awfull lot of time and effort with creating new characters and equiping them when we changed from freelance to clan and now those characters have no use and must be deleted in accordance with the server rules of not being in a clan anymore or face being kicked/banned and i for 1 am sorry but i will not being creating new char's and spending hours and hours rebuilding them from scratch again.
OP you did do a damn fine job in the building and updating of this mod along with your team and i hope you carry on with it, i have taken part in a few discussoins on this forum and more than likely will still do so, ok some have been to bitch about things but in the end we just all get on with it and play...
Maybe sometime in the future i will play on crossfire again but for the time being i will not, thanks to all those that have had polite well intentioned conversation and for the in game help especially to Dopple, you not too far away m8 i'll come n visit you soon

The clan practically still exists, just no one is in command. the ASF/CSF discussion was started and Tobias was the only one who even bothered to give his opinion. And about that book, I said I was reading it for school, if I didnt I prolly wouldnt even have a pc right because my pc would have been disconnected. I was online at the time to answer possible questions as I didnt want to be completely out of touch. I just said I might not answer very quickly. The clan would still exist if you guys haden't decided to leave the server without any notice. All the other things you state in your posts were talked about before you guys even joined and even repeated alot of times, because you just tend to complain about everything you see happening. I never bitched at you for not seeing a intruder btw, I have no idea where you got that idea from. And yes, I did bitch at you and Tobias once and I appologised within 5 minutes and explained why I said it. Now if you guys want to continue this clan, be my guest, although I doubt any of you has any idea what it's like.

1. ASF CSF could have certainly helped.

2. Sorry to see SL disband, rather nice bunch of guys.

3. All clans can be rebuilt.

Well as for the part about we dont know what its like think again as i have told you before, second to that if no comments aka bitching was made then none of the topics i feel would have had anything at all said about them.
as for the 'bitching' now i am not doing so at all i am meerly stating my thoughts and those of another.
Blood we have spoken about the issues and it has already been agreed that the circumstances are in no-ones control and the topic ended there apart from the fact that we helped ppl get stuff sorted out and where not seen again.
I am not trying to intimedate or bitch at anyone just using this opertunity to air the views of myself and warlock. The reason i havent been on is that i have seen no point in it as when i HAVE been on the only other members were warlock and Gust and seeing that Gust at the time was the only one available to recruit new members and myself and warlock the ones to 'show them the ropes' with the addition of warlock not being able to play as stated on SL forum i wasn't ready to take on any contracts or fly arround on my own getting constantlly killed if i did have the opertunity to take on a contract as i think you all know well i am not good in a pvp situation, and being that we were told a lot of time would be spent in pvp training with other clan members it was going nowhere, yes others were and are willing with the pvp but obviously not all the time as they have thier own RP tasks to do.
If you wish to view anything i have said as bitching then fine by me but i am just telling my thoughts as i have done in the past for me and for worlock but then that was all bitching too i suppose. as for continuation of the clan well that all goes back to having members to be able to do it with.....oh btw if the clan forum was open none of this would have been said here for everyone to see it would have been kept in the right place but then again it would only have been taken as if i am complaining......jeez its a game if i dont like it and constantly complain why bother playing at all, if complaint or comments are never made then things do fall apart im sure in other clans if someone has something to say then they say it and its not always taken as a complaint but a valid point of view. Oh yeah i did make a complaint about 1 thing in particular and that wasnt just from me either but hell i'll stop bitching now n go play snakes n ladders........

This reply is for Gust. I have been with the clan for about 4 weeks along with Screamer and we gave it our all as you know putting in many hours of game play and I even payed 2 months system rent to help the clan along. So the first question is as you kept telling us you are the clan leader how come Corporal (Blood) can disband it or do you agree with him ? As you are my clan leader my clan ships which took me a lot of time and effort to get will not be removed until YOU say so. Even if I get banned from the server for flying them I will not remove the Tag that I was proud to fly under. Secondly there is still 1 months credit on the system rent what happens to that ? and lastly as you know I have been unable to play for the past week due to illness and was about to come back and now get hit with this. It would have been more courteous to send an e-mail out to us rather than just dumping a post on here about it.

Oh and as you can see my signiture does not work no point now though is there !!

the clan would still exist if we hadnt decided to leave without notice actually Warlock had made a NOD post in the SL forum and had not left and considering there was no request to be playing at any point during the last few days when i hadnt been on (actually i have been on a few times in the early hours when there has only been a few other players on doing some trading......and so has warlock as you have seen Gust) i havent said that i have deleted any of my chars and as of yet niether has warlock the idea was to give it a few days and see if any contact indicating an interest in carrying on was made which didnt happen, all we got was a mail today regarding recruits/trainee's status and less than 2 hours later this thread.....kinda says it all

[SL] can disband if it likes, but there is no rule the tags cannot be worn on the server, per server rules.

That is a clan decision alone.

However, all your chars must still have [SL] if you choose to wear them.

Can I still rent Telosis though just incase we try a rebuild later or for the moment turn it into a safe home for Freelancers and there store ships ect.

I agreed with the disband when I heard you two guys left to another server. If people decide not to tell us stuff, we decide not to tell people stuff. But now that I see all these posts? What is the deal? Because if you guys decide to stay, I can reconsider. Btw, I didn't realise you paid for both months in 1 go.

We should be talking about our clan problems on our own board not in here in an open forum but here goes as our board is still closed. Who told you we had left to another server ???. Yes I will tell you that I have been playing on another server the mod name does not matter and I have used the same in game names I use here without the clan tags I am not trying to hide the fact of who I am while I am playing there. I have even asked the mod OP about taking the clan name to that server and starting a wing there. This was not a way of leaving this server it was me trying to expand the clan and maybe gain recruits from another area and I must say there are other XFire players there also !!. So I have not left this server my clan ships are still in place as I have said so are Screamers. What if we want to play on another mod for a while it does not mean we have left here everyone has the freedom of choice to play where they want and as they say in my country "A change is as good as a rest". Our "Home" rent was payed for 2 months as I told you ingame just after I paid it so it still has 1 month to go. So I will add that as the clan HAS been disbanded by which ever one of you is or was THE!! clan leader I claim Telosis for myself and Screamer untill the rent expires. Call it a coup if you like both you and Blood removed yourselfs from command and are now no longer our commanding officers and as you have no legal right to the SL clan name we are still keeping it alive at the moment. Dont read any threats or nastyness into this as none was intended it is just how I feel and as you have already left the chain of command you cannot just reinstate yourself as commanding officer.

I never said I was leaving the clan. Blood said he disbanded, but if you know Blood you know he tends to exaggerate just about everything. I said I was going to check now and then to see if things improve. But the point is, I don't see how they can atm. For me this thread was ment as a notice of Inactivity. If things don't improve, I'll take a temporary leave. I have been through too much to leave here entirely, the mod is too good for that. Since you're a commander you will be substitute leader if you want to continue SL. If you want to continue SL I'll restore the forum (there should be backups, so it'll be in the exact state as before).
All that has been said here before was in the assumption you two left (If you really wanna know who said this I'll PM, I dont know if you want it public). Because Telosis wouldn't have been rented again and I would have to pay for a 2/3-man clan. Since I wouldn't have the money in the first place, this wouldn't have been an option.
(Btw, SL will still be Blood's and my clan, we are thinking about making it a small multigame clan if things on CF don't work out)

The multi game clan sounds really good as you can see from a earlier post I had spoken to the OP of the other mod about starting a wing there.
"Home" rent would never had been a problem it was my intention to carry on paying the rent anyway.
